To my dear Jain brothers and sisters watching this video and being disheartened to see the blatant hate being shown in the comment section; you don't have to justify yourself or your beliefs to these trashy people. I myself do not know much about Jain Dharm( and that's the reason I have come to this video) but i understand that it might have something to do with not possessing any worldy possesions. I don't understand why are these babas mostly surrounded by women and small girls or fully clothed jain nuns. In today's world even girls have access to porn & nude models online. What is the necessity of public nudity of males & that too infront of their mothers, sisters & daughters. This kind of behavior can only degrade the image of men. Even a small girl will have no respect for males. It is disgusting that this kind of public nudity is still going on in the name of god, religion & salvation. Jain people are defending this kind of crap by saying that male nudity infront of opposite gender in public is normal & natural. Whereas women & girls nudity is unnatural. They teach that men have no modesty and dignity. Whereas women have modesty, dignity, shame & superior to men. Many Hindu saints have attained salvation or moksha. Gautama Buddha have also attained salvation. But these people didn't believe in nudity. Even shwetambar jains don't believe in nudity. I don't know whether normal Digambara jain men & boys are allowed to wear clothes in their home. Because many jain people say that nudity of a man infront of his mother & sister is very holy, very godly and they are proud of that. Our government is also not banning public nudity of men. These nude men are telecasted in national televisions, news channel, RU-vid channel without any censor. They are allowed to roam anywhere they want. Now a days nude babas are giving speeches in KG schools, primary schools, colleges, legislative assembly. This the equality that jain people believe in just like our doctors & nurses who don't believe in right to privacy for boys & men in hospitals.

For those who have serious lack of understanding about this video, please keep this in mind, it's Jainism. Please Study what is Jainism first and understand why there are naked people in the video. The monks are cloth-free because the spiritual practice of Jainism (i advice to go through the beliefs and philosophies of Jainism). Obviously Nobody was born cloth-on. You gotta admit that. What we identify with ourselves is not the clothes that we wear, nor the body. It's the soul and consciousness. So Please study and understand Jainism and it's spiritual practices before giving any silly and disrespectful comments, especially from Muslims and Christians. My humble request from a Hindu. Please respect other religions.

Seeing them sexually is considered sin . Many monks do wear clothes and many don't . But the common people of this community is considered far civilized , decent and richer . Self control is the only main thing u needed if u are born human. Polygamy , abusing your wives is pretty against thing to do in this religion .

why there is no gender equality in jainism,only male nudity makes jainism logicless, and why they think only male can attain moksha that is also very poor thinking.In hinduism male or women both can be nude saint( although they don't roaming naked in society which have bad effect in children and girls mind) and both can attain moksha either. That is most logical and truthfull

O children of Adam, We have bestowed upon you clothing to conceal your private parts and as adornment. But the clothing of righteousness - that is best. That is from the signs of Allah that perhaps they will remember. O children of Adam, let not Satan tempt you as he removed your parents from Paradise, stripping them of their clothing to show them their private parts. Indeed, he sees you, he and his tribe, from where you do not see them. Indeed, We have made the devils allies to those who do not believe. And when they commit an immorality, they say, "We found our fathers doing it, and Allah has ordered us to do it." Say, "Indeed, Allah does not order immorality. Do you say about Allah that which you do not know?" Say, [O Muhammad], "My Lord has ordered justice and that you maintain yourselves [in worship of Him] at every place [or time] of prostration, and invoke Him, sincere to Him in religion." Just as He originated you, you will return [to life] - A group [of you] He guided, and a group deserved [to be in] error. Indeed, they had taken the devils as allies instead of Allah while they thought that they were guided.

lord Mahavir, as usual, was always going from one place to other, he stopped near a big tree to meditate. While he was meditating, a cow herder came there with his cows. The cow herder wanted someone to look after the cows so he can go somewhere to finish something else he wanted to do. The cow herder asked Lord Mahavir if he would look after his cows for a few hours. Lord Mahavir was in deep meditation, and did not reply to the cow herder. However, the cow herder went away thinking that Lord Mahavir had heard him. In a few hours, the cow herder returned and found that his cows were missing. He asked Lord Mahavir, "Where are my cows? What did you do with them?" Lord Mahavir was still in meditation and did not reply. He started wondering. "Where could they be?" Since, Lord Mahavir did not reply, the cow herder searched for them everywhere in the valley, but could not find them. He came back where Lord Mahavir was , and to his amazement, his cows were there standing near Lord Mahavir. Lord Mahavir was still meditating. The cow herder got very angry at Lord Mahavir because he thought that Lord Mahavir was hiding the cows. So, the cow herder got out his rope and was about to whip Lord Mahavir with it. Just then an angel from heaven came down and held the rope. "Can�t you see that Lord Mahavir is in deep meditation", said the angel that had come from heaven. "But he tricked me!" said the cow herder. The angel replied, "He is a God. He does not care for your cows. He was in meditation and did not hear you. He did not do anything to your cows. You would have gotten bad karmas for thinking of hurting him." There was no response by the cow herder. He realized that he had made a mistake. The cow herder apologized to Lord Mahavira and went away silently. The angel went back up in the sky. The angel was happy that he could stop Mahavir from suffering. Mahavir didn�t have any bad feelings towards this man, because he held no anger towards anyone. We should not make hasty decisions because we can be wrong. We should, also, not hurt anyone, and should observe forgiveness instead of anger. This way we can stop new karmas from coming into our soul. Back to Story List.
