@@vq5933 well dhinchak pooja is a pretty famous "vocal artist" from india.. She's really beautiful, and has got voice of a nightingale. Look it up. The song I recommend is "Selfie"
I KEEP ON SAYING IT... INDIA KNOWS HOW TO MAKE THEIR VEGETABLES SHINE... im not a vegetarian but i do enjoy my veggies currified... HECK pakoraise them too... love you INDIA
yes, even I feel like I was born there ... I don't know ... you like being very close to me ... like your way of talking and habits ... as is common to me ...🤗🤗🤗
@@sandee9469 I said it caz if u visit Nepal thn it doest seems u r in abroad rather than it seems we r surrounded by our own people And I live with Nepalese and they are my friends too so they won't feel bad don't worry
In India we have a culture. Our house and our friendly neighbour house is same for us. We don’t feel the difference. Such is Nepal for us. We are such close and tight neighbours that for us it’s just as our own house.
depends on which definition you are using. in botanical terms all edible parts of plants are vegetables including fruits.. culinary definition treats them as separate and hence the confusion
@@Lightyagami-tx2xb bahar wale guh bechte fungus laga hua tum khate yummy bolte. India me jis hanth se tatti saaf kete usse kana khilate tum yummy bolte. Japanese culture ko cool bolte. Ghar ka khaana banake khana yummy ni bolte but satifying hote.
That food looked amazing! I love Indian food whether vegetarian or not, because the aromas, colors, flavors and spices are a total panorama for not just your taste buds. Diksha is not only screamingly gorgeous, but a more than worthy fashionista--I mean, come on, she ate all that without losing the lipstick or getting even a tiny stain on her shirt, and that takes mad skills. Respect! :)
@@amitrathore3697 Which is why most of my fellow Americans either don't like me, don't get me, or both. I'm too sincere and too unfiltered and unpretentious for most people to get a handle on, it would appear. I don't do fake.
@@sonic.garden Nope. She barely explained the food. She has little to no expressions on her face, it was almost like she was pissed all the time. She BARELY got any of his jokes. Sonny is so funny and anyone who got his jokes would have made the episode much much better. She did a shitty job.
I am not someone who comments on videos but I really felt the need to do it here. This was an amazing episode, the girl tried her best. In front of camera, not everyone can be graceful. Having said that, I have been observing a pattern. If there is a comment praising India or Indian people, there are so many Indians amongst others who jump into it saying India is not that great. Every country has its shady shit. It does not mean you don't take a compliment. I have seen other videos of his, like the malay segment, where if someone praised their country or people, they took the compliment so gracefully. All we need to do is say 'thank you'. I hope this comment gets received well. India is our pride guys. It's come a long way . Let's be supportive of each other. India is beautiful despite its imperfections.
@@Logicalyoutuber ha ha.. why would you assume I'm living elsewhere?? My ass is firmly planted in India my friend. And I still think India is beautiful. ☺️☺️
@@Iampatrix I can agree with you on a few things. Like, the dead bodies floating in a river and people drinking and bathing from it and that's just ONE river, to the best of my knowledge. But most of your statements are over generalisations. Do you seriously think there are dead people and bodies everywhere??? Where did you hear about dead dogs and cats everywhere?? About rapes, look at the statistics in the West. Where I live, I don't see dead dogs, dead cats and dead humans lying about everywhere or anywhere for that matter. About the backward traditions, that's what I meant by 'India has come a long way' in my original statement. We are still developing as a nation. Whatever you spoke of, is mostly what has been portrayed in the media. You should come here and have a look for yourself. Having said that, I haven't turned a blind eye to everything that's wrong with my country. But the point is, when someone compliments our 'food' or about how 'pretty' the women here are or if someone mentions how colourful India is, I don't understand why a statement like yours comes up. This really belongs under a political or cultural discussion. Not under a food channel. Just saying.
That looks like a day of perfect meals!! I absolutely love chole and Chana masala and aloo paratha or kulcha! My first ever Indian meal was chana masala and aloo paratha at a northern India/Pakistani restaurant in San Francisco. I was instantly addicted to the taste and full body sensations 😊 and it’s still my favorite Indian meal 30 years later. I live in Japan now and my favorite Indian/Nepali restaurant here is kind enough to make me Chana masala and aloo naan even though it’s not on the menu. Indian people and culture are so amazing and have made my life so much better!!🙏❤️
It's so difficult to watch the girl struggling to understand his brilliant jokes and wisecracks. Sonny, you need to get someone else other than "fashion bloggers" to host you in the city for food.
I am fairly new to Indian food and I am amazed at the flavor palate with these dishes. I would never be vegetarian, but with these spices, I think I could do it.
10:40 So dear girl, what kind of people are eating here? Host: Normally, college girls Camera guy shows the beautiful girls eating at the eating joint :D :D
She should take him to katra ahluwalia or ghee mandi for real delicacies rather than chole stalls only. On top of it she doesn't even know English translations for certain things 🙄 disaster
@@raminderjassal2211 Exactly, the girl completely ruined the video by keeping Sonny contained to chhole and diverse variety of breads (kulcha, bheega kulcha, crispy puri and what not). there was so much scope for introducing lot more variety.
@@blackbolt5839 it's more important that she know her own language, than ape the English language like Angrezis. It is shameful when Indian people can't pronounce Indian words properly but consider it a point of pride to not only master the "English lessons" but also look down upon those that don't or can't.
Sonny, I'm Bengali, brought up in North India. As much as I love Bengali, Punjabi and Mughlai food. You absolutely must go to South India and to the North East. The food is so very diverse in India and I wouldn't want you to miss out on those.
yea but they r mostly non veg their and north east is mostly non veg same as north but most veg variety can be found in north than north east and most flavour food thts why they don't like to come north east .🙏🙏🙏🙏
Great video, it accurately covers almost all of the varieties of Chhole that can be consumed in India, apart from some inaccuracies which I have mentioned via my other timestamped comments. I agree with other people who said that it would have been better if your host was a food blogger or someone who would be able to explain the intricacies of the food in a better way.
It’s 1:45 and I’m soooo hungry watching this video. I’ve always wanted to try tasty food around the world :) thank you for your videos for showing us amazing food cultures from different countries 😁
5:15 I would like to disagree, Chhole even though technically are Chane, but commonly are regarded as different. Chhole are the ones relatively larger in size, and off-white or pale yellow in color as opposed to the dark yellow or brownish chane.
I love your food blogging and all the places to eat in India. One of my top destinations. But one question though, what is your time apart before the next meal?
Please visit Arunachal Pradesh, The Land Of The Rising Sun, that is located in the Northeastern part of India. Have a cultural food tour with us amongst the green mountains and evergreen rivers.
Wait for a decade sis, after a decade people from not only other parts of India but also from all over world couldn't resist to travel North East India.
My first experience with food from India was pure craziness. So we were invited as standby emergency medical technicians for a ten year celebration for all Indians from Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania. So with all the travel on the first day, we were busy from morning and only got 30 minutes to eat at around 3pm. Hungry as we were, we had not realised that everything was nuclear, as in hot and spicy. But since it smelt really good, we filled out plates and sat down to munch it all. Well, the coughing started soon enough, and we ended up eating the wheats and and water. Having learned our lesson, we settled for bread and soda for the remainder of the week.
So you’re basically saying you were too stupid to do any research- it’s like someone travels to your country and eats only cheese and pickles with meat all say long- recipe to go to the hospital!
@@Bani_Maini calm down mister Stupid. First of all, I was in high school and it was in my home country, and it was not indicated that it would be exclusively Indian cuisine on offer. It is like you visiting my place and I prepare muthokoi with matu ma nduma and ngwasu. How would you fare...and before you ask what that is, what ever it is, you probably can't digest it!
In india we have so many options with spicy food to make it less hot or spicy u can have mango lassi ,plain lassi, faluda (some type of noodles in thicken flavor milk) ,kulfi(indian ice cream, chaach ( buttermilk), shabbat, lemon soda, shikanji ( sweet lemonade )and many more sweets
5:42 Amla is a fruit, which is tangy, sweet and sour in taste. It has various medicinal uses in Ayurveda. In India, it is used to make pickles, candy, digestive toffees among other uses.
Amla is gooseberry, girl you need to do your reading! Sonny does his part of the research before he goes out there, I wish he'd pick the co hosts better. Love all the way. Please do come to India again.
Anirudh Puranik I don’t think so it doesn’t look so appealing it looks more like diarrhoea, sonny compliments the food cause he doesn’t want to be rude, that guy drank animal blood in Africa and also compliment that but in another video in Indonesia he said it’s one of the hardest challenge for him the point is he doesn’t want to be rude to the locals
