Scientific reason jallikattu: Jallikattu is not just a sport, it's a centuries old tradition to preserve native breeds.Mainly Bos inidcus bulls are breed for Jallikattu, and it is an important ceremony for these bulls. After they are well-feed, and trained, they participate in the sport and depending on their performance in Jallikattu, they are picked for mating with cows, the breed lives on. Usually jallikattu bulls possess high producing healthy and strong genes so they are breed with traditional 'Naatu Pasu' (indigenous or native cow ) which is the indigenous breed of cows such as Ongole, kangeyam, Umbalacheri, and Kanchipuram breed that provides quality milk A2 variety. Gir, Sahiwal, and Rathi are also known to produce A2 milk. Also, when native bulls mate with pure breed cows, the cows give A2 milk, which is less in quantity but is full of nutrients, easy to digest for those who are lactose intolerant and allergy-free for kids. Jallikattu bulls are raised in a family of farmers as a child. It is the pride of the family that they have an invincible bull. Each bull costs between five and seven lakhs.

When a girl child is born, a baby bull is reared as a family member. When the girl reaches maturity, she is married to the man who can tame that bull. Only those with courage take this risk. It is a matter of family pride. Many people do not know that taming the bull sport is 4000 years older ( c. 6000 BC) than Jallikattu. It was the sport of the Indus Valley Civilization, which is presently in a large part of Pakistan. Bull taming sport can be seen in some Indus seals. The frequency and variety of the logo of the bulls in the Indus seals is amazing. Bull culture was very popular here. A similar culture prevailed in Sumer in Mesopotamia. In Crete, Bull grappling was at the heart of the Cretan or Minoan culture. Girls excelled in somersaulting on huge bulls. Some girls would run towards a charging bull, hold its horns and somersault on its back and stand on the bull. We know this because the frescoes on the walls of Cretan ruins, show in color, how the bull grappling game was played. Some archaeologists have compared the bull grappling sport of ancient Crete and the Indus Valley. Ancient Egypt, Sumer, Crete and the Indus Valley were contemporaries. They co-existed at the same time. They were the worlds first and greatest civilizations. The people of these cultures were dark complexioned. Now comes the ''shocker''. The language of ancient Sumer and the Indus Valley was Archaic Tamil. In the Sumerian language word like Ur, Aar, Utu, Ko, Ziggurat, Arali and Beedu have the same meaning in modern Tamil. But they are separated by more than 3000 years. Nobody has explained how and when the ''bull taming sport'' of the Indus Valley in present day Pakistan, came to Tamilnadu in South India. if anybody has the answer, please let us know.

If a country wants to preserve its traditional cultures why someone has to have a problem? If India is trying to preserve it's culture what's wrong with that?
