If you think there's a hygiene issue here, get a job in a food factory and have a look at how the shit you buy in supermarkets is made, especially the store brand ones, where the store looks for the manufacturer with the smallest cost, then "inspects" them every once in a while. People using mobile phones on the toilet, then handling the same phone in production, while touching food/equipment. Expired ingredients are given "concessions" and used well beyond the use by (seen mold being scrapped off buckets off cheese, the rest being used). Shit thrown in the freezers for months, defrosted before going into the store, then sold as "chilled" (fresh). I've seen enough metal/wood/plastic in food that ended up being released for sale to last me a lifetime. Then you have the subtle things, that most people don't even notice, like a machine breaking down while loaded with raw materials ending up being repaired for12+ hours without anyone realizing that is full of meat which has also been sitting at 30+ degrees C for 12+ hours. They fix it, everyone pats each other on their shoulders, and you end up eating that shit. And this isn't some 3rd world country, it's UK, with this shit being sold in Waitrose, Ocado, Amazon, Sainsburys etc.. You think the guy breaking his back for minimum wage is gonna care about washing his hands after scratching his balls, before touching your food? You think he cares about being caught when there's thousands of other manufacturers waiting to exploit him? You think the manufacturer will care, since it's so hard to trace and firing someone would mean so much trouble investigating, firing and finding a replacement? You think the stores care, as long as they don't get any complaints about the food smelling like balls? Stuff that's cooked in front of you, no matter how bad it looks, it'll most likely be done better than behind closed doors, it's just that we naturally have a bad reaction about others touching our food, no matter how clean they work. Last example, if you've read this far. Try to comprehend this process: 1. You get fresh ingredients, but your planning sucks, so right before they go bad you freeze them. 2. You defrost them, mix them to prepare the food, then your machines break down, so you freeze the mix. 3. You defrost the mix, make it into food, then freeze the food because the orders are low. 4. You defrost the food, then sell it as chilled. Then people go to the chilled section in the supermarket expecting a freshly made product, not having a fucking clue about what you've done, and paying full price for something that even if by some miracle is safe to consume, has nothing to do with the advertised recipe. Quote of the day "The product has been compromised, so we cannot give it the standard shelf life. At best, we can sell it with a reduced shelf life." "Ah, they've already printed the Use By, but don't worry, most people will eat it straight away." Well, good-fucking-luck if you don't.

Most parts of the world they overcook the omelette, including in India like this one, which makes it really eggy. I didn’t realize how good an omelette could be till I had cheddar cheese omelette with jalapeño in the US. Try cooking it just enough till it’s not runny and see how it tastes
