I don’t know how many of you remember, this Shivakumar had offered nearly 10 acres of land on a hill near Ramanagara to a Kerala Christian group to erect a statue of Christ, like the one in Rio! These Christian group claimed there was a historical connection between this group and the hill! Luckily, BJP came to power and rescinded the offer! DKS is a low life corrupt man!

The rulers of erstwhile Mysore Sate built “Keres” or tanks in both Bengaluru, and Mysuru. Due to lack of maintenance, and some of them dried. The urbanization made the situation. As this engineer said these keres were built on sound engineering principles. The erratic building of apartment complexes without proper planning has caused destruction of water resources. Of course, India’s population growth hasn’t helped! This Engineer is God Send. I am sure his efforts will bear fruit. My question is why hasn’t the Government of India awarded a Padma Shri?

Wow so great his awareness and his thought was so humanely he knew the future well in advance 🙏.The effort is worth accolades and gratification.Even the people in the government never must have this thought for human care as water cannot bring wealth. GOD has brought man down on his knees and has shown do not ignore natural gifts given give it is due as they are precious to life thirst is an instinct which man can only be tolerated for a short period of time.water food air and shelter are the basic needs which are most important for human to survive.

Bangalore used to be city of lakes, many lakes are encroached and apartments have come up. Existing lakes are polluted, the one near to my house is chibanavara and kuduregere lakes both are in pathetic condition. Government is least bothered about it
