This might be the oldest video game store in India! Babu started his store in 1980 by renting out the Nintendo Game & Watch handhelds for 1 rupee an hour.

This was Nintendo's first successful video game product and it led the way for their mega-hit, Gameboy.
30 years later, Babu's store is still here in Pune, and he has a workshop where he repairs and mods consoles.
Where I'm from, sadly, these types of independent game stores run by gamers are long gone, so I loved visiting Babu's shop and buying a Nintendo Switch. What's your favourite video game? Tell me in the comments.

In 1999 and early 2000's we used to sit at the steps of his shop and play Nintendo games. Few year down we used to take Play stations on rent and call all friends to play at home. He created our teens. Thank you Babu Bhai.

As a regular customer of this store since 2006 i can confirm there is no other store that's better than this, babu is a really chill dude and he's been a major part of my childhood. That's why i always loved going to my aunt's house at bhavani peth since his store was nearby.

As a kid, I used to go here to play PlayStation 2. He had like 6-7 PlayStations on the upper floors and used to charge INR 20 per hour. Also used to repair and sell games. Brings back memories.

This store is just two minutes away from my home its in "Bhawani Peth, Pune" my whole childhood I have played video games 🎮🕹 here!!🤗 And not just Babu, there is one more similar store called Pappu which is also one of the oldest store(not older then babu) which is just 2 min walk from Babu store..
