In this video I have shared my 14 Days Free Hotel Quarantine Experience.
We landed in Sydney and were locked in a Hotel by the NSW Authorities which was mandatory since we were overseas travelers. Our experience was different, in a good way. So here is what all we did in 14 days.

Hello Guys, This was wonderful video. I just got confused with the headline. Do you mean, one who is entering into Australia has to stay in mandatory quarantine but need not to pay ?? Or he has to pay for his/her quarantine if he/she has PR ?

Hi Rahul. Quarantine fees will be waived off only if you satisfy certain conditions and the important one is if you had bought a ticket before a certain date and the Airline canceled the flight. However, you need to produce evidence. Please watch my other videos where I have explained about our quarantine waiver. Since rules can change anytime, keep yourself updated with state websites where you may have to quarantine yourself. Right now, only PRs, Citizens & other visas with exemptions are allowed into the country.

Yes you can carry cooked food, however some products may not be allowed by the Australia Immigration. eg peanuts, dairy, meat... But in ur flight journey you can .

I am asking as I have no flight experience not even domestic and we will be directly doing international journey to Aus on 189 PR. Please share about airport checks documents and quarantine cost if possible. I also want to know about how U guys managed with laundry and daily activities during quarantine. Thanks

Very informative vlogs! Keep it up! In case someone turns covid +ve during quarantine , and if no Medicare is available , how is the treatment and hospitalisation covered if needed?

Better to apply for the Medicare as soon as you land. Incase ur tested positive on landing, then better tell authorities that u need to register for Medicare as ur a PR.

In hotel quarantine, you will get veg and non veg option to choose from, when you arrive. If you are craving for Indian food you can order food from outside. Just make sure to ask your quarantine facility about the rules of ordering food from outside. You can watch my all other videos for more information.

Hi Mehboob, You get to convey your dietary restrictions within the available options. There is an option for veg n non veg as well.

Im traveling to Melbourne on 20th Jan 2021. Kust wanted to know what about food during hotel quarantine. Is it included in the final invoice bill as published by Australian govt or its charged separately?

Hi S N. The bill in usually inclusive of 3 meals a day. However, keep updated with the State website where you may have to quarantine as rules keep changing frequently these days.

Could you please answer my two questions regarding the journey to Australia in this pandemic .. 1) Do I need a COVID test report for travelling to Sydney at Delhi Airport. 2) Can my husband send me parcel at the hotel quarantine room. Like charger and laptop and food sometimes.

Hi Rubeena. Thanks for watching. I have answered your 1st question. You can get a parcel from outside. There shouldn't be an issue. But I think you can't send anything out of the quarantine facility. Only thing is that you call at the quarantine facility reception counter and inform about your package.

Excellent videos..by the ways..it is like were travelling with u both and mostly banters with friends...

Hi Gangaram, Thanks for the feedback. Make sure you inform ATO, Medicare etc immediately after you get your own acco Or give a friend's mailing address for time being. Meanwhile, call your quarantine hotel to ensure they don't receive any correspondence.

We didn't have a laundry service included. It was chargeable. Hence, we washed our own clothes.

Hi Singh, We had already received our PR before traveling to Australia. Citizens, PR and Visas with exemption were allowed to travel to Australia that time.

We ordered Uber eats only once. We payed through the Indian debit card as forex had some issues with the payment.

Please Guide us through the process of getting flight..Do you guys registered In Australian Embassy. Please give me the information to get to Australia. Hello Aarti, It is a great piece of information and well put up thanks for this video. my flight ticket which I have booked in March got cancelled by air India but I do not have any cancelled ticket from them nor any cancellation email. I have a passenger advisory document shared by air India. Will that be enough for the waiver along with original tickets and passport copies?

Hi Ankit. Try finding out the ticket. Atleast some sort of ticket confirmation. Else, try to provide an alternate evidence like a bank statement indicating ticket fees but actual ticket and cancellation email is a strong evidence.

The quarantine fee exemption is only available on certain conditions. Each state requirements may be different.

Hi Taranjeet, Right now PR, Citizens and some mpre visa categories can enter Australia. Please visit DHA website to know if your subclass fits in that category. You can contact home affairs for clarification and avoid any confusion.

NSW website doesn't mention anything about Visa status for quarantine waiver, so yes, you can get a waiver provided you are eligible and submit all the required documents. For other states, please check their websites.

Since it was our first entry we completed all the requirements like bank acc, TFN, Medicare etc. We also had planned our daily schedule so that we don't get caught in the no fresh air dilemma.

Hi Sellamani. Quarantine is free only for those who can meet conditions set by the states. Quarantine fee may vary from state to state. Hence, check on their website. It is usually 4000$ per person for 14 days but please do verify. I have made a separate video on our quarantine fee waiver.
