This is my First Flight experience from India to Canada as an international student for the September 2022 intake. My flight was on August 17, 2022 via Air Canada directly from New Delhi to Toronto.

Most agents dont provide gc key till their fees is not paid. Travel krn toh pehla gc key lai lo coz immigration ch need pai skdi aa.

I booked my ticket through a travel agent. Before booking the ticket, you can check the luggage description thoroughly. It would me mentioned clearly about the check in bags.

Bro it totally depend on agent .. every agent has some seats with 2 bags so if your agent wants he can give you air canada ticket with 2 bags .. i travelled 3 times with AC and always has two 23 kg bags with no extra cost ..

No, i did not. Its not required nowadays. Just make sure that you are fully vaccinated. (Both covishield doses)

Inside the plane, there is paid wifi service available(not worth it). Outside, you need to buy a canadian sim card. Or you can load your indian sim card with an international plan for 1 month.

Yeah, if your pp is already stamped, you can book your ticket in advance. Go for a direct flight coz you never know, the rules may change for 3rd country.

In economy, you have 3 options - standard, flex and latitude. Both standard and flex allow 1 bag whereas latitude allows 2 bags. So, you can simply choose bw the standard or flex option and pay for the 2nd bag directly at the airport. (Roughly 6000 rs)

As far as I know, you can purchase the bags from the Duty Free section. But you can enter there only after your bags are submitted and immigration process is done. It will be expensive, depending on which brand suitcase you choose.

Depends. Prices may be different at Bangkok airport. From Delhi airport, its usually 100 cad extra per extra 23 kg bag.

For diploma courses, approx 20 lakhs is required. This will cover your Gic,1 year tuition fees and other miscellaneous expenses. Masters is a bit more expensive.

Better to select the window seat while booking the ticket itself. But, you can always request for a window seat at the airport, which depends on its availability.

Meals were already included with the ticket. No extra charges. You’ll have to pay for wifi additionally.

There are atm like machines at Toronto airport. When you fill your details in one of these machines, you’ll get a receipt.

Yes, There are no direct flight bw BLR and Edmonton. You can simply book a flight from BLR to Edmonton with single or multiple stops.

Really weird... having credit/debit card is a normal thing.. how do they expect other nationality ppl to pay!! Did u get receipts of cash payment? If not then may be pocketing it. I have travelled with 80-90 kg stuff and they always have cc options ..
