Superb guide. A tip on getting cash in Malaysia - Some ATMs charge no fees and some are higher fees - I used the the ATM Fee Saver mobile app - it gave a list of the fee free and low fee ATMs in Malaysia. Also showed the withdrawal limits of the ATMs there for foreign card holders. Was very handy to save up on unnecessary expenses. Worth adding to your list!

From Mumbai its 33k at present and from Kolkata its about 15k. So from Mumbai u will have to break journey and pay abt 25k.

Luggage capacity should be mentioned in your ticket. If your luggage weight is increasing that limit then you can purchase extra luggage with some extra cost.

You can carry a card as a back-up but just ensure either you have international travel card or your credit card is also international and international transactions are switched ON.

We purchased celcom sim and the network was good. We didn't face any issue with internet. Around 500$ - 600$ are good enough for Malaysia if you are staying for 6-7 days. Per day cost will be around 60-70$ but it totally depends on the person how much they want to spend. If you want to visit luxurious cafes, travel in cab then ofcourse spend can go up

Thanks for the information - I do have similar itinerary , I want to know 1. How was your Indian immigration? 2. What all documents being checked at the airline counter to get the boarding pass? 3, Very Imp - Do they asked for KUL-SINGAPORE flight ticket? I have return ticket from Singapore and didn't book any flight from KUL TO SIN so what about this from both the immigration because even Indian immigration will ask for KUL-SIN ticket?

1. Indian immigration is smooth, they ask why you are going and check for tickets and stays (but not always) 2. Entry and exit from the country you are traveling, VISA, Hotels 3. They will ask for it, you need to show both entry and exit from KL

1. They can accept card but just carry some cash as back-up 2. You can withdraw cash or just add you card as a payment method in grab and go cashless. Do not forget to turn international transactions ON.

Was your checkin time before 3pm in malaysia almost all hotels and airbnb checkin time is 3pm but we have early morning arrival wat we can do to get early checkin

Just check with your host/hotel in this case whether they can give you accommodation before 3pm or not. If not then you can ask if they can adjust it by paying some extra amount
