A lot of people have in the past have registered themselves as SC & OBC, increasing their population just to avail reservations. Some states like Tamil Nadu have more than 40% SC & more than 30% OBC.
PC is suffering from selective amnesia. Pradhan Mantri Grama Sadak Yojana ( rural roads) and Pradhan Mantri Awaj Yojana ( Homes) , Pradhan Mantri Ujwal Yojana ( Gas connection) etc are all for poor people for whom he has developed sudden affinity.
