Americans eat a LOT of pizza, and if you're thinking of traveling to India, you may be wondering if you can get a slice now and again. Is Indian pizza any good? Well in this video, I taste-tested 5 pizzas in a small city in South India and also asked friends in the USA to try some pizza and share it on video for comparison.

Earlier in India Pizza always meant either Domino's or Pizza Hut. I personally find Domino's better. But recently there are many local outlets who have started making better quality wood fired pizza that are better than these branded ones. The only problem is finding these outlets that make good quality pizzas. Pizza is still very exotic food for most Indians, like an acquired taste. My father, who had quite an adventurous palate, never developed taste for it.

We go once in two months and we consume only Dominos. Never tried the local one. Btw I am an Indian😂. Bro please come to Dhule Maharashtra, here we have local chinese food which is way cheaper than in hotels with very good taste and hygiene. Like Manchurian full plate for 50Rs.

My experience with Pizza Hut is not so good but Domino's is pretty good here in Hyderabad. Pizza Hut is pretty dry! I think most Indians in metro cities will prefer Domino's. I would love to see you review Domino's Pizza India.

Pizza is one of my favorite foods. I gain weight quickly eating pizza, because it is made with white flour. I get frozen vegan Daiya brand pizza here, it does not have the all purpose white flour, tell that to your Canadian vegan friend. Indian pizzas you were showing don't seem to have good crust, otherwise they look good. Looks like you are going to be in India forever, too bad India does not have dual citizenship.

I usually go out only to dominos cause even in India they probably have the best pizza. And in india another advantage is we have a wide variety of vegetarian pizza. Also we have dominos literally everywhere. (At least in Bangalore) .

Where in TN do you live? Cos in Chennai you can get the Dominos, Pizza Hut and such proper pizza outlets you may like. Those ones you tried looks like small local shops. The store guys themselves would have never tasted authentic pizza I suppose😂. It’s really cool that you never judge or hesitate to try these. Best wishes👍🏻

The best pizza in India is at Brother's Pizzeria in Auroville, near Pondicherry. It's really good. As good as some of the best pizzas I've had in Europe, maybe even better sometimes. It's not far from where you live. I've driven down to your town many time (I live in Auroville)! You must come and try it sometimes. Also check them out online including on Facebook.

I have eaten pizza in NYC and that is best in my opinion. Pizzeria in Brooklyn are amazing...In India, Bangalore has the best pizza chains. Ovenstory and pubs in Indiranagar are just amazing.

avoid those pizza shops which use that cheap plastic cheese. you must have seen many places a big brick of cheese being grated thats not cheese its plastic. better choose one that uses mozerella else amul cheese is also good

Mumbai is really commercialized so the quality of pizza's are really good here, sometimes even the locals. Tamil Nadu doesn't agree with westernization much i suppose.

I would say ...in terms of pizza in India only domino's is popular..i mean I have always felt like I wasted my money just for trying something new sake...now I know whatever it is it's not as good as dominos. Secondly many vegeterian options so good valve for money.
