That's the best you've got out of 1.4 billion people? Your sports officials needs to more recruiting from the grassroots and provide venues, equipment and support to the sport. I've watched tournaments in RU-vid played on dirt not in proper gyms.
@@elyserva7903 there's very less gyms for volleyball in our country 😭😭 We play in flat sand and that's why sometimes I get scared of diving for ball too 🤣 I don't wanna bruise myself bro 😅
Look at all the gulf teams. European coaches and foreign players. India has its own coach and its own players - a sign of self sufficiency in term of ideas and resources. What does it say?
@@ashikfirnaz Look at the Qatari roster on Wikipedia, at least 4 of the players are east european. Also the 'black arabs' are still originally from africa, not native qataris.

And about the black arabs please check the history of GCC countries, Not only africa, the old ethnic people of current countries like saudi, qatar, oman, yemen...etc are blacks
@@ashikfirnaz All the european Players were born In European countries such as Serbia and Montenegro they later changed their citizenship to Qatari. Also Yossef Oughlaf was born in Morocco and changed his citizenship to Qatari. Regarding the African players you may be right but they might have come to qatar as refugees and later played for the Qatari team, but I don’t know since there is no info. on those players.
My village players plays better volley than the Indian National team. Edit : height matters but skills matter more.. take example of the japanese national team
Yeah.. i dont see a lot of skills in qatar's team but they have a good strength play.. on the other hand, india has a balanced skill set still they dont have a trump card or special skill to dominate other teams.
Broo the Indian national team is the best in India. Ur village team may be be better than the other village teams in your locality. And the fact that japanese players are short proves how much knowledge u have about volleyball. Even the shortest player of japanese starting line up Nishida is 6'3". Yeah skill matters but don't act like a clown by saying your Village team is better than Indian Volleyball team.
India has the potential and I really appreciate them. However, they really need more training and if they do, it should be put in an extreme level of training. I bet if they could get the best training, coaches, and all they need for sure these guys will beat big teams too! I really hope that India gives more importance to other sports.
The Indian team playing like, somme kiddos, they have to improve their game, they should give good pass! Honestly They don’t have any sincerity on this game, they are just hanging around! Get a new good players, there has lots of people with good talent, find them and build a good team!
In the whole game, India didn't play any combination/fake attack. Only 3 attacking positions with no strategy. With week difence, service and blocks, the country is way back comparing other smaller countries.
In India we have briliant young players but they don't get chance to play for India. There is lot partiality in selection for State level and national levels. Some states have Monopoly over vollyball.
Kerala and Tamilnadu keralam women volleyball team is national champion from 2013 and in mens keralam and Tamilnadu are strong teams in Asian Games 2023 7 states players are selected so no partiality
Indian team is a talented team but we lack best coaches we need foreign coaches especially from Italy, Russia or America Just like in hockey and football we are growing fast and doing great bcoz of foreign coaches and staff
I really feel we have capability to fight against foreign players only lacking is quickness and defense... We have to focous on this.. Our players r lil slow and dosent move

Its better Indian volleyball player play local matches means only inside india...They are dominated and will show somany extra skill...kindly select proper team and train well.In India there are somany outstanding player in volleyball give opportunity to us.Winning or Losing doesn't matter but try at maximum.Kindly don't select the player with their past performance and influence.
they need reception drill very badly and the counter attackers are very poor in whole match counter attacker scored 3-5 points i think soo .. and there is no star quality in any player except jerome .. who has the service and backline attack power not a single pipe attack and servicing like its a regular tournament in home .. service should be powerfull not always floating and dipping
Lol he is the worst player in team . Infact India lost because of players like him. If he gets 1point in attack team loses 5 points because of his poor 1st pass and infact he cannot even block a single ball. Shame on Indian selectors to select such players.
