In India, ya'll missed showing cadbury chocolate lollipop, cadbury dark milk, cadbury shots, cadbury glow, cadbury chocobake cakes, cadbury 5star 3D OREO, Cadbury dairymilk spready, cadbury hot chocolate powder, cadbury fuse FIT, and marvelous creations that were around for a while.
I think they stopped selling Marvellous Creations... isn't it the one with the excessive jelly beans and all kinds of candy. I have literally NEVER seen a cadbury chocolate lolipop or cadbury glow.
@@scraboz8187 cadbury lollipop is a very new release. Probably in like October 2022. And Cadbury Glow is a type of gift box like cadbury celebrations. You can google them
Nikhil should've told how fun it is to lick bourn vita as it is (powder). Also, does anyone from India remember the "ulta perk", twas literally a chocolate wafer cylinder with smooth melted chocolate inside.
It's so shame that uk has so so many flavours and we haven't that much. I know people here are more haldiram mithai lovers. Here chocolate is for valentine's couple 😅
@@saraanderson2784 I've watched videos of him working as a host and presentor for celebrities in some shows that are more specific to the people here. Besides that, nothing much, thought of making you aware in case you wanted to know more about him.
Dude i got so much nostalgia when nikhil said "melody is the best chocolate" i remember the good ol days........and the good ol ads......but i always had one question... MELODY ITNI CHOCOLATEY KYU HAI!!!
Its still available in stores. Marketing is zero so many dont really know that its still here. I feel like the quality has gone downhill tho, or maybe i have grown older.
Melody is so nostalgic at this point. I remember whenever a kid would bring it for their birthday we'd ask them what chocolate they got, and when they replied with 'Melody' we would like tap them on their head and run away. Because in Kannada, the language that is spoken in the state that I live in, 'mele odi' literally translates to 'hit my head'. Good times.
My family grows and sells cocoa for cadbury India (indirectly) , its a small farm but we make sure that they r properly taken out from the fruit/shell and dried in the sun... Had the plantation for over 60 yrs now...
@@ravd8082 Well, the subsidiary in India produces their products and sources raw materials locally, so their is a substantial difference in taste and texture of chocolates produced.
I would've said I'm a bit disappointed that we haven't gotten more Food Tours today, but I'm not complaining since I always love me some Food Wars. Plus, any Harry and Nikhil content is always a win.
@@harrykersh Lol 😂 tbh you colonizer cntrl freaks who destroyed every nation you stepped on did not favour them, it's just you did your lame business on our backs and just named that trade fit for your own people, it's us poor people who later adopted your bullshiz and have to make it our own, else we wouldn't take all these companies of foreign especially british ones.
We used to have a slightly different Fuse in the U.K. I was working in a supermarket when it launched and we all had to wear Fuse T-shirts for the launch. On the bright side, we were each given a couple of free bars to try so we could tell customers what it was like. It was delicious but it’s been discontinued for a very long time now.
Dark Milk is available in India too , Aishwarya Rai advertises it on the TV 🙃, Marvellous Creations ( the Jelly popping candy one) is also available in India
Watching this just makes me want an Australian version! Would love to see some of the comparisons as we have things that share the same name but are different products
I’ve just come back from Australia and did reserve sometime in supermarkets doing my own mini version of the show, much of the disappointment of my other half, and give a shit about any of this LOL
I never had a Cadbury in my life but this looks very tasty. The UK and Indian versions are amazing the many different kinds of cadbury's and so many varieties. Surprised the US doesn't have that 😩
Another flavour that has recently taken India by storm is Lotus Biscoff, you cannot escape it in the dessert section. Also, Cadbury Dark Milk was discontinue here.
Few bits that I didn't see in the video from the UK is, egg n spoon which is a chocolate egg with this creamy chocolate mousse in it and it comes with a spoon to eat it (which is a bit weird but works surprisingly well). And there are white creme eggs which are new aswell as caramel eggs.
Yooo where are Cadbury Shots in India’s exclusives?! We also have Chocobakes, don’t we? Not to mention, the the Marvellous and the lesser sugar (diet versions?) are in India too. I personally prefer the cookie nut crunch flavour over the jellybean popping one. Should we also include Bytes (bring them back!) as an exclusive? We have so many different Cadbury’s products, it’s insane
Many of the chocolates in India are missing like 5star classic 5star crunchy, 5star chomp , 5star fruit and nuts, dairy milk marvelous collection ,silk mocha, brownie mix, perk glucose, madbury collection , dairy milk shots, chokisticks and whole line of celebration collection are missing . Anyways a good video makes me happy as a big fan cadbury products
This is a very well done video, hope to see more of India VS UK in the future. Also, the US does have Cadbury products, but they are very hard to find, and there are very few.
Because uk products are better than Indian as it contains minimum of 20% cocoa while india's contains only 2. And the indian one contains hydrogenated vegetable fat which leads to cardiac diseases.
The Fruit & Nut bar is my absolute favorite. Perfect amount of sweet & savory. My late mother loved these as well. I eat them & think of all the memories we shared so that makes the Fruit & Nut bar very special to me.
I feel like I've had a lot more India specific like Pan flavoured, but also some of those 'UK exclusives' in India like the caramel and the popping candy one as well
been a fan of flakes since I tasted them when I visited the UK but it's really hard to come across them anywhere else! germany has milka bubbly but it doesn't hit the same
In South Africa we have a little bit of the exclusives from both India and the U K. We have 5 Star, Crunchie, Bubblee , Oreo collabs. But one thing i did not see from either country is a P.S bar or a lunchbar.
There used to be a Cadbury caramel in India . I'm from Bangladesh and I have tasted almost all dairy milk in India cause it's more smooth and silky over there. One of the best chocolate in market following sneakers
I had an opportunity to visit the Cadbury factory in Birmingham in 2016. Unfortunately, we arrived shortly before they closed, so we weren't able to go on the tour. We did go thru the gift shop and loaded up on different varieties of their chocolate. It's too bad that Cadbury has to go thru Hersheys to market in the US, so most Americans don't get a real taste of Cadbury. My favorite is the mini eggs...especially the white variety. I always try to stock up around Easter.
Unfortunately most Americans were raised on Hershey's, so they prolly wouldn't like the real Cadbury. I agree it's better, but it took some getting used to. Nothing beats a good dark chocolate bar though.
Cadbury's do not go through Hershey to market Cadbury Chocolate in the USA, it is made by Hershey under licence to Cadbury Chocolate of Birmingham UK and other than UK Cadbury beig sent to people in the US from the UK by mail no British Cadbury products are allowed in the US. I believe this stems from the fact that Kraft Foods purchased Cadbury under the nose of Hershey who were trying to buy out Cadbury Chocolate.
I never knew that Cadbury's was in somewhere else other than the UK! I thought you can only get in the UK but I didn't know that India get to have probably the best chocolate ever!! 🍫
The thing about silk bars is they have a low melting point so they literally melt in your mouth, or when you are holding it out in room temperature and it's like you're eating melty gooey hot chocolate. It can get messy but tasty AF.
I don't know how many of Indians remember that one carbury chocolate 'madhouse' or something having many types of toffee and jellies in it somewhere launched in 2010s but then it just disappeared...
There seems to be a lot of bars that exist here in Ireland that don't seem to be in the UK unless they just were not mentioned in the video like cadbury Turkish, caramello, mint crisp ,golden crisp , wholenut and a few others. I really hope they bring back the rum and raisin stopped being sold here around 10 years ago
5:11 The Mystery Bar concept is genius I think what they're doing is targeting some particular flavours (say, for instance, strawberry) and then selling these prototypes to see whether their imitation flavour truly matches their expectations. If it doesn't do that, but tastes good anyways, they can label it as whatever people identified it as most and sell it as that flavour. Reward those who got it right (retroactively really). If it does do that AND tastes good, well that's a win-win. If it doesn't do that AND doesn't taste good either, they can scrap it but get saved from labelling it as something, not living up to the expectations and a lot of failed marketing. This just gamifies the whole process while recruiting the customers to do the heavylifting.
Is the Indian Fuse bar our peanut Boost bar? I’ve scrolled quite far and can’t see anyone else mentioning this. Also our Fuse bar was lush, and should be reintroduced immediately… or at least for Halloween and Christmas when our chocolate consumption goes up.
In india we had silk caramel , and some thing called Cadbury jully popping candy and it's not exclusive Uk version Even we get it over here, and when it comes to Indian exclusive version he miss Cadbury Rubdi and Cadbury crunchy cola
The Curly Wurly is similar to what used be sold in the US as a Marathon Bar. I loved freezing those to shatter and eat pieces of frozen caramel & chocolate.
I was not understanding initially why India had so less exclusives than the UK. Then it struck me that Indians don't need chocolate as sweets as we are heavily dependent on milk sweets...
As an American, I refuse to purchase the American Cadbury and will go out of my way to purchase Cadbury chocolates from an Indian store because they import it and its made in the UK. The taste is completely different than the American version b/c it’s brand is being licensed (by Hershey I believe) and the manufacturing is completely different.
I always get the feeling that Hershey isn't the custodian of the Cadbury name in the US, more like the kidnapper. They do the bare minimum, ensuring that their own brand is not overshadowed, and won't give the brand back to its rightful owner without a massive ransom.
Dudee Cadbury BYTES!!! My childhood!!! I miss them! 😭😭 There are new variations of that from different brands but nothing close to what BYTES felt like!! Also, Cadbury chew sticks, don't remember what they were called exactly, but basically tear it with your mouth nd suck out all the chocolate until the soul of wrapper has escaped!
In Australia we have a bar called “Snack” which is small blocks filled with strawberry, mint, caramel, turkish delight, pineapple, orange and coconut ice and it is the most amazing thing ever 😍
In the uk we do have Oreos with Cadbury’s chocolate coving it like in India, we also have cadburys hot chocolate. We also used to have square biscuits with a thick layer of chocolate on to also Cadbury’s mint crisp
@Anglo Saxon bruh how stupid can one be lol you do realize more that 50% of spices come from India and in ancient times European traders used to trade spices from india just living in delusion lol
Love Darkmilk but Bournville Old Jamaica is my absolute favourite. Regular dairy milk ones too sweet now at 43. Mum loves Fry Turkish but only the regular pink (Rose) Lemon and Cherry way too artificial
