British colonization on India: India became an economic colony of industrial England, with its handloom weaving and handicrafts industries collapsing due to British industrialization. The British forced the Indian government to import goods from Britain rather than develop local industries, leading to deindustrialization. The British plundered India's wealth and resources for their own benefit, with historian Will Durant calling it "the most sordid and criminal exploitation of one nation by another in all recorded history". Famines became more frequent and devastating under British rule, with millions dying preventable deaths in what Shashi Tharoor terms the "British Colonial Holocaust". The British used divide-and-rule tactics to maintain control, turning Indians against each other and exploiting existing social divisions. Indian cultivators suffered under British land revenue experiments and commercialization of agriculture, with the number of landless laborers increasing.

India should not trust the UK. In this context, I have to mention how Britain conquered India. In a document published on 2nd February 1835, the following is what Lord Macaulay, who throttled our ancient education system and culture, said in British Parliament. " l have travelled across the length and breadth of india, and l haven't seen one person who is a beggar, who is a thief, such wealth l have seen in this country, such high moral values, people of such calibre that l do not think that we would ever conquer this country unless we break the very backbone of this nation which is her spiritual and cultural heritage and therefore l propose that we replace her old and ancient education system, her culture , for if the Indians think that all that is foreign and English is good and greater than their own they'll lose their self-esteem their native culture and they will become what we want them, a truly dominated nation."

i would say partial correct, because india enjoys trade surplus with only US and EU as group (except UK).... But trade negotiation with US with favorable conditions are almost impossible... as US normally don't offer unless offered something more pricier than that.. EU too is extremely powerful in terms of negotiation, but not impossible (just like US, because it prints dollar😊) except Europe and (big continent but small market) Africa, i dont see major free trade agreement partners anywhere in world.

probably i know, why india is interested in FTA, but disclosure may end the deal... lord SHANI approach (hide everything ), to know everything... 1) where first actor is reactioner, 2) slow mover is observer of all. 3) no mover , is observer of all and beneficiary , once benefited then moves....

there is no going back in history.... just ensure not to allow the thing to happen again, for which you were looking back , to correct it.... don't look at coal numbers used by brits in history, look that , to support, green energy initiative, is UK ready to provide Nuclear energy to india today (if brit is serious?) if yes, then negotiate on , conditions on usages , quantity, price, stable supply for future terms, etc)

Before signing any FTA with UK. India Government should raise issue of khalistani. India should demand those person who are responsible for Khalistan movement in UK without any conditions, in 15 days.

noway please... khalistani themselves used as commodity by UK, to trade negotiate with india... so bringing khalistani issue on table will solve UK's agenda.... khalistani issue has to be be dealt with some other same activist group in india . who challanges World Trade Organization by not allowing UK firms to operate in india (by creating issues)...😊 small issues has to be dealt is small way (don't make it big just because other wants it to be big).... if media makes it big, put reasonable conditions on them too...

if i come to someone's home, claiming its mine, and then negotiate with the owner with house..... if owner, wants house back provide me some amount... so owner should not negotiate on house..... no way.... negotiation won't happen on house (it should have been delt seperately by police, or something else)... actually expected thing is::: owner should negotiate with me on, should , my activity be forgiven ? if yes, what cost i should pay ???

India shouldn’t put offensive language statements on public media. That was rude. Also GDP of India may be higher but for undeveloped country like India, first 7% is equal to zero because of 6.5% inflation and 1.5% population growth & poverty level very high that takes lots of revenue as subsidies Keep this in mind that real gdp growth is 1% only as first 7% gets offset by high inflation. That is why rupee stuck over 80 against dollar
