Thanks for giving your suggestion to improve our English skills .l think learning any other language is little difficult ,but we definitely will get it if we do hard work on that. And you are the best example of it.Take care yourself
Hey Achuina, first off I want to say that you come across as a genuine, grounded and confident person and I enjoy watching your videos. I also love your accent and how you talk, it's very relaxed. In my interviews I usually end up talking very fast. Are there resources to learn how to improve accent as well as pace when talking in English?
Thank you for all the information you provided today. I mean I have seen many other Indian students or Indians residing in Korea say that it's almost impossible or totally impossible to get a job in Korean as an English professor or an English teacher straight up to my face when I enquired them about it. But it was for the first time I saw an Indian say that it is possible and there are many ways to which a person can land a job in South Korea as an Indian in the field of English teaching. Thank you very much. It really gives me hope to never give up and keep on going with whatever decision I am going to make in future for my career whether it be as an English teacher in South Korea or anywhere else. Thank you very much for saying affirming me in my decisions. 💓💓💓
In this world nothing is impossible I believe. We just have to keep persevering and working towards a goal no matter what the obstacles us. That's what makes us human right? Sending you the best wishes in what ever your future plans/goals are 💪🏻
@@thehannacouple would be good if you could also make a video on accommodation (where you live) - the costs and how easy is it to find a flat/apartment.
Thank you for your vlog on education. I got my education in Manipur and Poona university. Now I am in America. Every country has own system. Thank you.
Dii, literally you are just awwwwesoooome. I am in love with your English . You have sach a sweet voice. Can you please make a detailed video on EPIK Program for Indians plz plz plzzzzzzzzzzzzz.🥺
Hello guys I'm in search of someone who can practice English with me because I need to go for abroad for internship so I wanna become fluent in English so is there someone who can practice English with me??
With the declining birth rate in Korea teaching job in general isn't as secure like it used to be in Korea. Even for Native English speakers securing a well paying (more than average) healthy work environment school is becoming a challenge lately. However, if you have the qualifications and are confident that you can impart quality education to children you should definitely try. Just an extra information but I've heard that China pays better, which is why a lot of Native Speakers are looking towards China these days.
Thank you for this informative video. Interesting to watch this content as am also a subject teacher here in our town..what you have said is exactly true. Participation(speech) is very important which develop the skill for future prospects..This is what exactly i tell to the students 👍.with regard to the salary i think it is little less to live in an expensive city as you said😁..Anyway congratulations for being chosen as a well deserving teacher.🎉.It will not be easy but you have the quality to fit into it 😇👏
Truly appreciate the kind words and affirmation as it definitely keeps me motivated. I definitely have a new found respect for teachers now that I'm walking in their shoes. When it comes to salary that's just the starting salary for fresh graduates and housing is usually covered by the school (which is actually the most expensive part) for E-2 Visa holders as per government/Immigration law 🙂
hello!! first off, i'd like to thank you for this super informative video, and secondly, i have a question. on the EPIK website eligibility section it reads: Under the CEPA agreement, Indian citizens are eligible for positions if they meet all other requirements and hold a valid teaching certificate in English education (this requirement cannot be fulfilled by a TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certificate) what do they mean by a teaching certificate other than TEFL, TESOL etc? do they mean a B.Ed degree or a NET qualification maybe?
Hi there, As per my knowledge, Teaching License is the certification you receive from the government after clearing your B.Ed or M.Ed degree. TEFL or TESOL certifications can be an added bonus to your resume 👍🏻
How can i become a English teacher in korea, I did my bachelors in English literature and currently pursuing my masters in English literature, What is the whole procedure to go there and teach? Please help🙏
@thehannacouple Is it must to provide proof of English medium schooling ? As it's showing on the EPIK website that one must provide proof that their schooling from 7th year/grade and through university was conducted in English. Letters from the schools will be sufficient proof and must be submitted with the applicant's initial application.
Hi there, Yes, it is necessary to prove that you've received your education from Elementary till Graduation in English if you're looking for an E2 VISA via EPIK as an Indian. I believe your yearly school transcripts and letter from your school/college will help in the same.
Hi! Can I know, only the 7 English speaking countries can teach English? And no one else is qualified for the E-2 visa? I’m close to finish my TEFL and TESOL. Can you help me with it?
This requirement is laid down by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Immigrations Office of Korea. The only way an Indian can apply for an E-2 VISA as mentioned in my video is via EPIK but the requirements are long and the competition for these positions are high. Along with TEFL and TESOL you will require a teaching license and a degree in education in order to apply/qualify for an EPIK teaching position. I've provided the link to EPIK's website in the description of this video. I would suggest you try other Asian countries such as Thailand, China etc where I believe there are a lot of English teachers from India (I'm assuming that you are an Indian).
@@thehannacouple You say you teach the English language? Then you should know better! And it's not a "minute" mispronunciation of the word "determine".
@@MeiliGenZ I wasn't being rude either? Maybe you're just too sensitive! I thought you were being playful with your feedback, so I responded playfully too. This also shows your immaturity by trying to call out my "STANDARD". Lol~~ take a chill pill human 😆
@@MeiliGenZ It's unfortunate that you consider this healthy exchange of banter as an argument 😆. I'm assuming you are still very young and fail to understand such nuances. Also, RU-vidr or not we are humans too so having a dialogue with our well wishers like you, shouldn't be considered an act of "immaturiy" or maybe this word has a different meaning in your diction? By the way responding to comments (as much as possible) is actually considered a basic courtesy in the world of content creation. With all that said, we send our best even though you seemed to be offended for something which wasn't worth that much of your time & effort. Good luck and peace out ✌🏻
I am from india right now i persuading my degree in BA English and also planning to do masters in future will i be able to apply for English teacher in korea is it possible for me ?
As mentioned in the video if you're looking for E2 visa sponsorship then as an Indian you'll need a teaching license and certifications to be eligible to apply as an English teacher in Korea and that too via EPIK only (as per current guidelines).
Hii sis.. I'm from Manipur n I did my graduation in English major. This yr I'm planning to do my master in Korea in mass communication. I've already done IELTS. But, I'm worrying about getting job after my course. N I want to do part time too while I'm still in University. Will it be very very hard to even land a part time job for foreigner??
If you have the credentials to prove that you have better skills than a Korean it should not be hard to get a job. Everything boils down to VISA sponsorship when it comes to working full time.A company should be willing to sponsor you. As a student you get the D-Visa aka student visa which allows you to work for a number of hours a week, which you'll need to verify from the immigrations or your university. Work and study in a competitive country like Korea will not be easy but it is certainly not impossible.
@@thehannacouple thankq so much dii for the details, idk how missed this valuable reply but my plan got changed unfortunately😞.. now I'm selected in Paris university instead so going to France but I'm sure I'll come to Korea for a holiday.. hope to meet u one day maybe.. lots of love from Manipur❤️❤️
As per my knowledge there are 2 universities in South Korea that have Masters program in Pharmacy for foreign students namely Seoul National University and Yonsei University. I would recommend you to check the university websites for more details about it. Good Luck 👍🏻
Thankyou so much for your reply..😊 So if I do the TOEFL course online, will that certificate work ? Or do I have to go to the perticular institution for the course.. ?
I'm seeing your vlog for the first time and I thought you are Tumby Naga, especially the way you speak is same like her except slight different in accent. But you're different person. 😅. Are you her sister?
hahaha~~ as far as I'm aware of I'm the only biological child of my parents but it's nice to know that I resemble another fellow naga lady 🤗 Thank you for watching my video~ it means a lot 🫶🏻
@@TheJUDGEMENT2 because your eyes and my eyes are completely different in perceiving things so I found them similar and the moment I saw her, the first thought came in my mind was Tumby that's why I said.

Hey, I am an Indian who is planning to apply for EPIK 2024 Fall. I have tried my best to find what type of teaching certificate Indians need to apply for an E2 Visa. I have emailed EPIK as well but never got a reply (it's been a month). If you have any idea could you please let me know?
I have heard that EPIK never responds which is so disheartening to hear. I truly hope they do. To be very honest, they are the only source of complete and correct information, however as far as I know a B.Ed or M.Ed degree from an accredited university will be considered as a teaching license.
Hello dii Ek doubt tha so socha aap se clear krlu -- Kya me meri 4 saal ki BA karne ke baad direct TEFL course ke liy apply kar sakti hu yaa iske liy b.ed karna jruri hai
I don't think currently there's an any agreement between South Korea and Bangladesh to allow citizens from your country to be eligible to teach English in Korea under E2 Visa unfortunately.
It's an internationally recognised accent. Do you think foreign countries will want to learn your mother tongue accent in English? English should be English
