Finally, the IAF pilots are learning how to fly or rather drive the helicopter into battle pose. If you remember correctly, the time when they received these choppers 2 years back..the pilots where just flying them straight and slow as if u driving a new toyota corolla out of the showroom. I was like what? Bcoz they were not trained how to maneuvre this Apache 64 - E. Cuz pilots needed US training. They only knew how to fly rooski helicopters since 1947.

That WSO was very slow in target acquisition ; he risked his heli of being shot down by enemy ADS & ground team operating ATGMs. I do understand it was just practice shot, but Indian Military have to be more professional & Better trained. Best trained russian pilots are shot down like flies in Ukraine.

So the apache we bought doesn't have helmet driven IR pod or night vision pod or Link module. This is the bare bone apache. Really?
