Bhai shahab Astra mk1 and Astra Mk2 missile ham ne apne hi ladaku vimano me lagane ke liye banayi hai😂😂. To isme koi nayi aur badi Baat nahi hai. Shocking tab hota jab ye nuclear tipped hota
@pandey47pradeep Yes, I know it was killed due to the inefficiency of the government and bearocrat babus. Kurt tank was an unmatchable genius who worked for our country, but we also disobeyed him. Since then, we have not gotten a single specialist from outside india. Wherever there is involvement of beaurocrats, that thing is mess. India must rnd the government raaj system and give work to the private sector aggressively.
Sir, you misunderstand LOBL. And LOAL. For a missile two thing is important. Lock and track. In an aircraft, the radar of an aircraft continuously searches for enemies in the sky. When enemies come in the range of radar, they can be seen. When you get a missile lock on an enemy, you basically put the rader of your missile on the enemy such that now your missile radar keeps looking at the single enemy they want to kill. When the missile is launched, it tracks the enemy through its radar and follows them. It does course correction and everything in between in order to follow the movement and maneuver of the enemy. Enemy simply changing course will not throw it off it's track until or unless enemy depletes all energy of the missile which is only possible if the enemy can detect the lock on before the missile is at a certain distance. This is where lock on after launch comes in. This is a technology that completely changes the game. Before you had to come into the radar range of the missile and because the radar of the missile was smaller, the radar range of it was small as well. Now you can lock on to the bandit with your aircraft radar and send that information to the missile guidance computer. Missile will launch and move blindly till it get in range of the aircraft and then it'll turn on the radar and lock & track the bandit. It is doing the same thing it would have done at the aeroplane been that close to the bandit, But by itself. The idea is not to keep the track as the enemy moves. All air to air missile as well as surface to air missile does that other than very few exceptions around the end of World war 2 where unguided missile were used with proximity fuse to destroy targets at very close range. It was almost as close as using the gun. All guided missile be it thermal or radar, even remote controlled can track the enemy movements. LOAL only leverages the bigger radar of the aeroplane to get the data and engage before the bandits do. There is also another aspect that radar missile lock is completely visible in the locked aeroplane as it shows up as a continuous beam of incoming radio waves instead of beeps. Anyways I hope this helps. Another great video as usual thank you for your time.
Who need astra mark 1 in the era of long range fighter jet radars and air to air missles which has capablity of 300 km . What India need is Astra mark 3 .When will Indian scientists and government think step ahead of our enemy countries. We are 2 decade behind of chineese in air to air missle and fighter jet tech
Ind to missile tech me kafi age hai bus production me peeche hai govt ki dlali aur redtapism cong left secular lobby ki dlali ne ind ko dusre desho pe Nirbhar kiya warna agar govt honestly fastrack mode me yojna manjoori de aur private partner ko samil kare jet engine ke alawa ind har cheese 5 salo ke andar bna lekin attack drone warship fighter jet me redtapism ne ind ko abhi bhi kamzor kar Rakha hai😮
Waste missile as its still was underperformed in its last test, IAF gave the clearance just because, its now hopeless. Now the funny thing is thst the LCA where this crap was to be integrated is far from reality as the GE F404IN20 engine is not going to be delivered bu USA till India sides with Russia. The delivery of Apache helicopter are on hold by US, and its very evident on the attitude. 🙏🙏
@@hrushikeshavachat900 actually all it was designed bvr but its not range was supposed to be 150km to 170 km it was only 110 km recorded that's why MK 2 & Mk3 is developed. See when you don't get what you actually planned then you make Mark 1 , 2, 3....and add new designs and technology. Same thing happened with Tejas, isn't it...🙏
@saptarishi100 Can you give me any authentic source that says that the range of Astra Mk1 was expected to be 150 to 160km. That's the work of Astra Mk2 and not Astra Mk2
Aur log troll karne me busy he DRDO and HAL ko. It took time to indigenous push your defence ecosystem when your whole previous governance before 2014, kind of condescending your indigenous capabilities over importing technology, forget about collaboration. After 2014 only, govt took serious steps regarding this field and now suddenly everyone want quick arsenal of warplanes, bombs and tanks. We started our Kaveri engine program and Fifth gen aircraft program during 1998-2001, with no impactful yield till 2014. Because govt have no trust on our scientists. And now everyone wants quick transform.
