Nice weddings but there are buts with Indians and Caucasians. I would prefer to be more self respected for my socio and political opinions and how history and currents events shape my thinking to ensure that there is a clear boundary of perceptions. My point is that , keep your 'headlights' on and think and manoeuvre life where you can be safe, self righteous and have a political agenda that respects the struggle of Indians and the Indian Diaspora around the world. They say choose your partner for life with care. I prefer to be with my own kind (being and Indian) as that gives me empowerment to show that I have made the right decision in life. This enables me to further my narrative of NOT marrying outside my race as testament of my intellectual, social and economic success in this world.
