Number of students appeared in Neet 2024 :- 25 lakh Number of total seats in MBBS, BDS, BAMS etc :- 1 lakh Therefore India must spend atleast 5-10% of its total budget on education especially higher education, then only dependency on government jobs will reduce.

@@pikachue602 That's not the issue, you know right? Cuz cutoffs are based on performance of that year's participating students. Main issue imo is leakage of papers such as NEET and dumbing down of some entrance exams for ex. CUET in place of DU JAT for BBA BMS in DU. Edit: And ofcourse the no. of seats itself.

Sir, it's not just that india needs more medical colleges, we need more professors and non clinical PGs also... There are reports of empty vacancies in newly made colleges for pre clinical subjects like Anatomy, Physiology, Biochem etc... We need to pay more for research and inculcate these ideas of R and D in medical fields also, so more doctors choose these research based, non clinical subjects... And hence, more colleges can be made

"Jinko India mein seat nahi milti due to various reasons.." - absolutely undermines the truth. Jinko India mein seat nahi milti woh doctor banne ke layak nahi hote. They are better served by looking into some other professions. Only 2 - 6 % of these students pass the lincenciate examinations after coming back to India. Do not send your children to other countries, specially the central asia and other post USSR countries.😢
