The lowering of the flags ceremony at the Wagah border is a daily military practice that the security forces of India (Border Security Force, BSF) and Pakistan (Pakistan Rangers) have jointly followed since 1959. The drill is characterized by elaborate and rapid dancelike manoeuvres and raising legs as high as possible, which have been described as "colourful". It is alternatively a symbol of the two countries’ rivalry, as well as brotherhood and cooperation between the two nations. Similar parades are being organised at Mahavir/Sadqi border near Fazilka and Hussainiwala/Ganda Singh Wala border near Firozpur.

@@Arch009 SADLY ... China has an "ally" ... Beijing Biden and his corrupt government (which includes the bureaucracy and also large parts of the economy and social media). They wont help China, but if they "do something bad" chances are that the USA will be passive and useless over the next four years. Not many know about the chinese project to divert the waters of the Himalayas ... effectively draining the Ganges. This WILL BE the reason to go to war with them for India eventually. They have already done it to smaller countries in southeast Asia ... the Grand Tour showed it clearly when they were on a boating tour across a lake and got stuck because the water level was getting lower and lower due to China having diverted their water already. I really hope India will come out on top in that conflict, but there are many rats gnawing at the foundation ... just like in our countries in the West.

This show is highly choreographed. It’s unique, exciting and mesmerizing. The interesting thing is all uniforms and actions are exactly the same except the colors. There must be a lot of coordination and collaboration between the two sides. Good show!

@@markwalter7119 Seriously speaking,all personnel in this video are Border Guards and part of the L.E.A.s of both nations.The Pakistani ones are called Rangers while their Khaki clad Indian counterparts are called Border Security Force.Both Indian Armed Forces and it's Pakistani counterparts are usually deployed well inside the country's border during peacetime.
