Hello from Pakistan! So happy to have stumbled upon this video 🙂 We wear similar fabrics and silhouettes in the office here as well so your guidelines and visual references are so helpful in creating a capsule workwear wardrobe 👍
I seriously feel that you should also advice people to ask their tailors not to give a very high slit in the sides of their krtas, for this really makes them look really very ugly, one can even see their panties from the sides. I don't know why the tailors say that a high slit makesthe tummy look thin, it is utter rubbsh. Especialy when wrn with some tight leggings or churidar. It doesn't look so bad if one is wearing such kurtas with some pant. Also whenever, I travel by air or train, I make it apointI wear bottoms that are not not salwars, pallazos, or such things, for these would create problems when we would like to use the toilets. ALso never wear such pants whne you ar e in some Mall also because there also f you want to use the toilet , it is not easy to keep such bottoms from touching the floor. In many videos of the West, I have seenstylists recommending dresses for older ladies, were I agree with thier ideas to be very minimalistic, but their color tones seems to be always ver ylight colors or dark colors from top to bottom to be only colors like grey, dark blue, brown. These are the colors even otherwie worn in all these countries including the young ones. I wuld like to know what clors and patterns would suit older women in India, f y ou can make a video on that I w ould happy.
No iron: Polyester, Chiffon, Georgette, Crepe. Light iron: Rayon, Silk. But....All of these are SYNTHETIC fabrics (except Silk). So these are not comfortable for daily wear, and should be strictly avoided in hot and humid weather. In most places of India, Cotton and Linen are the best, although they need a bit maintenance.
Ma’am please make an office wear video for newly wed brides, who will be wearing Chuda, and please consider traditional Mangalsutra, Bindi, Sindhur along with gold jewellery. Please keep Bright Colors in mind, No Black or White. Please ma’am make a video on it.
