Subhodeep certainly was the best of the lot. But one undeserving one was, with Sony's clever plannimg, handed over the coveted prize. Shameful! Neither had the judges marked him topper, nor had the junta voted him so. But SONY was the all-powerful and did what most didn't perhaps even could have dreamt of. What a pity! Did what they wanted, ignoring sentiments and reality.

When Shubhadeep sings, it touches directly to your soul. I'm 74 yrs old, I have seen mostly all the seasons of Indian idol, but never came across a singer like Shubhadeep. What a wonderful and amazing talent. Hats off to Him.
