This will definitely be an Onam we will never forget! Navigating through narrow muddy roads in the middle of monsoon was very challenging. (Thank you Google Maps for taking us the wrong direction) There was a few times where we almost fell off the road and let me tell you, I was so scared, I stopped filming.
That’s when we met two Tamilian workers who helped us get to our destination! There’s no way we would have made it without them, and we are forever thankful for their kindness!

They were Tamilians working in Kerala. Regardless on what state they were from or what language they spoke, they still helped us navigate through the crazy roads and there is no way we would have made it without them 😃

Yes there are lot of guest workers tamilian who were working in Kerala munnar tea estate . All they are mostly basically from madurai , thirunelveli & Salem district from Tamil Nadu .

@Sohrab The Socialist land occupied ah ? 😂😂😏 In Kerala they have history of origin details each & everyone in municipal taluk who are all working and where they came from ? And how they came from ? If you want go to municipal corporation and ask details all those tribals are came for tea estate job in a contract basis via A.V Thomas and Tata estate they all staying in estate house which company provides for accommodation . No one have rights to take ownership in that land for your kind information . There is no proof for them to buy those land as well & those tribals have not buyed any land in that area from anyone . Kerala government that's why still has all the records of each and everyone coz they know very well in future someone will try to create new conspiracy in this like you said. But still Kerala government always giving full support for all those tribals worker and their basic necessities . Coz now they belong to Kerala and they are part of keralite . So you no need to worry about them untill any political people's brainwash them get in to trouble .

I remember when I was in Munnar during my college days. Me and my friends went on a wildlife adventure at 12.30 am which was scary and amazing. Kerala is a great place. Love from Chennai.

I am from Northindia but still i prefer to everyone to visit south india and Eastern most part of India. It's so beautiful and a gallery of nature.. With mountain, rivers, falls, etc.Really Amazing.If i say as whole India is a natural and beautiful country. 😊👍👍🙏

Visiting Munnar was one of my best memory of South India.....when I was studying in Pondicherry..... It gave me a homely feeling and TBH I find South India much better than North🤭🤭..... Memory refreshed when I saw this video.... Great Love from SHILLONG, Meghalaya 👌👌👌👌Have Fun

Most North indians have a stereotyped impression of south india .Especially South Indian history .Hardly any north indian knows about Cholas Pandyas Chalukyas Rastrakootas Hoysalas Cheras Vijaynagar empire etc. All India prescribed text books ,Bollywood , News channels TV shows etc project only north and north west indian history cuisine culture etc .Luckily internet is changing all these.

But Kerala is considered very bad in northern India, I've been to north for few years.. Only negativities and fake news from Kerala spread fast in North India.. I felt very insecure to say im from Kerala, coz that much hatred is spreading through social media.. North or south.. Both are living thier life, earning for their daily bread and looking after family.. No one is worse

@@shabeerrl237 that’s not entirely true. I have friends from Kerala. I myself have been to Kerala. It’s one of the most developed state in India. In terms of HDI(human development index), health care, lowest crime rates, highest literacy rate, highest life expectancy rate, lowest infant mortality rate and good infrastructure. Other states should learn from Kerala .

Thats Crazy Road! I had Similar Experience in Wayanad, that too after 5 PM. It was getting really dark and I was walking walking, doing Circles! Finally God Send, Tribal People helped me to get out from the middle of nowhere. I still remember to this day! :)

Munnar is heaven on earth. The locals around are extremely helpful and polite. Just be mindful of elephants popping outta bushes on really narrow roads and you will be fine.

I have watched hundreds of videos on youtube regarding indian food. I lived in india for 5 years. I manage to cook indian food in my country and my ancestors are from india. I never heard anyone saying Indian food is bad, nor have i tasted a bad indian curry or something else. Indian food is one among the best!

Tamarind ? One of the products adding taste to indian food .Grows extensively all over deccan plateau.Arab traders saw this tree and its fruit and called it as date (the fruit they knew best) They called it date of India Tamar-e -Hind became tamarind in british English

@@sivasankar-ew7wm Yeah that's correct. There are a lot of tea plantation workers. If I'm correct most of them are originally from Theni. Probably their great grandparents migrated to Munnar to work in the fields. Even to this day, they maintain a very good connection to Tamil Nadu. Most of the local people you meet in Munnar are Tamil.

They are Tamils not Malayalis. They were speaking Tamil, not Malayalam. 😄 I think places in Kerala that borders Tamil Nadu speaks Tamil and some Tamils maybe living there too.

I remember my trip to Kerala along with my friends. We drove a Scorpio to Chembra hill. The next day the car started to swerve erratically on the highway. The vehicle was old and front wheel assembly had got screwed up due to extensive loads it took on those harsh roads, along with structural damage. 😅
