Sorry for that weird experience you went through..India is a huge country with vast population..as a Hindu Maharashtrian I certainly am ashamed that few people just destroy the real spirit of festival by getting drunk and give the wrong impression to the world..but I am also glad that you met majority of people who are real & showed you the actual connection with their Bappa especially the spark in those kids was love❤..Special thanks to Nirav and his family for being so warm and welcoming.. And yes we are extremely proud of our Mumbai police.. Hope you are enjoying this craziness 😅😅 and mind you this is just the beginning, this goes on till New Year all over India in coming days..😅😅 Navratri, Durga pooja, Dussehra, Diwali, Guru Nanak jayanti,Christmas and New year.. Fasten your seat belt Philip..lot of madness on your way..All the best😂😂😂
Yes you spoke truly I was seeing his mood off because a drunker teasing him unwanted pulled him for photo but that is not our culture he drunker should now how to behave with a foreigner
Hey Phil! You became a celebrity at Ganesh Visarjan(bidding goodbye to Ganpati). BTW you have covered Mumbai Ganpati festival beautifully. I haven't seen any other foreigner enjoying in Mumbai so much.
Sir next week Durga Puja is Starting in Kolkata .You must come to Kolkata to see the Festivities. Its a once in a lifetime experience like ganeshotsav in Mumbai. The city is fully decorated with lights.
hi phil I saw your video today. The way you used to speak "Ganpati Bappa Morya" was very nice. You were very friendly with people. I hope you enjoy it a lot. Bappa fulfill your wishes.
The celebration is more serious and has more reality of the faith. I really like it. Wishing everyone there peace, prosperity, and finding the best things in life.

9:56 This family offering you to take Aarti in first meet, is the priceless and genuine way to greet foreigners. I hope you are here this Ganpati Bappa Festival as well, I welcome you. Please do come to Mumbai if possible, I'll take you around all the big and famous Ganpati Bappa Mandal in south part of Mumbai. I have Bappa for 11 days in my house, staying near Lalbagh, Mumbai.
Suggestion to visit Gujarat Navratri Garaba utsav. Its having amazing in Gujarat at that time. Spectacular management everywhere in that time whole Gujarat celebrating.
I thought the festival 🎎 had ended but you are still going to more celebrations .🎉 I also thought they burnt the idols on the beach areas. to send them onwards to a new life ? 😊 I've enjoyed all the videos you have posted. Thanks 👍👍
no, we dont burn the idols! We take to the water because it signify the birth cycle of Lord Ganesha; just as he was created from clay/Earth, his symbolic statue is as well. you can google more to know about it.. also this video is of the 7th day visarjan.
One suggestion for you. Why dont you wear a Tshirt with your channel ID on back whenever you are making vlog? You'll get more followers. There are people who feel shy to directly ask for your channel name.
Wow beautiful video and thanks for sharing, the people are very friendly and welcoming, that is the beauty of our Hindu religion, we accept everyone with open hands, watching from South Africa.
Visit Kolkata. Only a few days left for Durgapuja festival. This festival is included in UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. You'll never forger this beautiful experience.
