It means BD import from China the same raw materials it imports from India. Most countries in the world do this, so that they have a different source for important materials. India earns billions of dollars in tourism from Bangladesh. The tourists spend on visa, transport, hotel, restaurants, shopping and spend money on so many different sectors. Again, India is the one who makes the profit in good relationship. Now India wants to use Bangladesh for transit to its landlocked states in the north east. And they want to use the ports of Bangladesh. India BD relationship is more important for India than BD

I'm sorry Major Arya! But you're suggesting that line of credit should be extended without seeing the borrowing nation's repaying capacity. I think looking into China's line of credit extended to Pakistan is a perfect example to look into before extending such line of credit.

Bangladesh has the capacity which paapistan never will. Bharat needs a solution to the ‘Siliguri Corridor’ and Bangladesh can be a key. Bharat is also capable in ensuring a prosperous neighbourhood by not giving ‘free food’ but ‘teaching how to grow own food’. That will also ensure repayment of loan/credit
