I don't know for what reason the lights on the roads were off but Bahria town is well lit at night, It has abundance of lights which give a spectacular view at night from the eye level as well as aerial view. Specially when the aeroplane enters Karachi Bahria town lights look awesome from above.

Hi Guys..i am from Karachi...i watch your many videos, and your different videos you left questions to know about few things. i remember in 1 video related to Islamabad, your were asking about the vehicles number plates colors , so for your information, Yellow color number plate in sindh, and remaining are white with province name and Commercial are Black....and one more thing for your pronunciation you say Moskee (English = Mosque : Urdu = Musjid) something like this...But actually its pronounce MOSK (Mosque)...anyway All the Best.

Nice reaction. So watching it after a year, i am going to answer some questions as you asked: So I live in Bahria Town Rawalpindi the twin city with Islamabad. How much is the price of Land or ready-made houses? It depends on the size of the land, so if its 10 marla and if its in 1-6 phases, then its probably between 90 lac to 150lack PKR, and if you are looking for a ready-made house on 10 marla then depends on the quality of construction it ranges from 2.5-4.5 crores. In phase 7-8 there are different price, land area is so big that its even bigger than some of the small cities and official towns. Phase 7 has 10 marla land from 45 lac to 95 lacs. Recnetly one of my friend inquired about a ready made 1 kanal house and the initial offer in Phase 7 was 3.8 crore now you can imagine the price fluctuations. Phase 8 extension has the lowest prices, that will be ready to construct houses in 2-3 years time at the time of writing this message, and 1 kanal land would cost from 29 lac to 40 lacs keep in mind 1 kanal is the 20 marla. I dont know the pricing in karachi but its relatively 30-40% cheaper than Rawalpindi Bahria Town. How much maintenance? For a 10 marla house they have 4,000 PKR monthly for 1 kanal they charge around 5500 per month. The maintain parks, roads, plants on public places, zoo and tons of stuff like small maintenance services like plumbing, electricity issues, gas plumbing. They also provide free of cost Water, even during the shortages, they deliver free water from their own storage. They also have their own Power Plants and Water treatment plants, (they charge for electricity per unit and its almost same as the Govt's electricity charges). They also provide free of cost security, like their private policing officers, vehicles keep patrolling to every road/gali and check on every locked house to keep it safe. You can also call them to watch your house and they might charge you 1000 per day if they really need to. They also provide security checks on all entry and exit points, they have a wireless controll system, they also have their own fire, security, maintenance departments. They also build Mosques which are managed by their own designated people in each mosque and pay the salaries. So it all comes in that 4k to 5.5k maintenance monthly charges that come along with Electricity bills. Gas is provided by Government so they dont bill it but have their on gas maintenance department that works with the Govt's owned gas companies. All in all Bahria Town anywhere in Pakistan has same quality of services that you would find in any city. I am living here for past 5 years and I am so much satisfied. A lot better than living outside. Now if you cant afford buying your own house,then rent ranges per portion from 35k for 10 marla portion to 60k to kanal portion anywhere from 1-7 phases. I think its affordable for those who are middle class or just touching that. I hope it clears more to you.

An area/block/sector is called pricent and each pricent has its own facilities like masjid/market/fitness club/ park / commercial/ resident plots flats benglos/ sport club etc... VIP block/pricent like Paradise/ personal form house, Taj Mahal etc.. are under construction their were more than 100 pricents but after high court order only 50s pricents are illegally allowed
No, it's not very expensive, in fact, one or two blocks have houses as cheap as 50-60 lakh, but some blocks are expensive but within 2-3 crore living in such area is not a very bad deal, In Karachi on an average a 120 yards house cost almost 80 to 150 lakhs. And no govt. officials aren't living here most of them live in Defence Housing Authority.
