I'm disappointed with this episode of Mark, its not even 1% of Karachi. For Karachi food you need atleast a whole week to cover its food. I'm sure Ali is not fimilar with Karachi thats why he didn't went to actual food heavens except Javed Nihari and Fish katakat. Last one Dua resturant is not that famous its a normal place, there are hundreds of restaurants which are way more bigger and their dishes are famous. Ali took him to Burns road in Morning that was the worst idea, Karachi wakes up in evening and goes till 6am. If you really want go explore Karachi you have to start your trip around 5 pm and onwards. And that Biryani on street was absolute shit no body buys Biryani from these guys because its not from their origin. They are not locals of Karachi.

And Karachi has its own moderate culture there are families more then single bunch of males. But for that you need to have knowledge about Karachi. And Only Karachi is the place where you will find food from all over sub continent. Its population is more then 30 million and you can guess how many resturants would be there ?

Exactly what I and my dad were thinking. My dad was like why did he take Mark to "Lalokhet ka gand?"😂. There is no lack of great eating places in Karachi. And no proper Karachi ki haleem? I mean the chicken one in Lahore is passable, but can't compare to the authentic haleem that is only made in Karachi and Hydrabad. Seriously the rest of the country does not make it.

Being an Israeli citizen, when I visited Pakistan, North West Frontier Province in 2007, I was literally shocked by the hospitality of the people. Even though I was asked by my Pakistani friends not to disclose your identity to locals, they may not be kind to you. I was shocked to see that where ever I went, people embraced me with open arms and I am sure, the first among the people from Israel who openly presented my country Israel in Pakistan.

when you sprinkle water on sizzling naan..what it basically does, it soften the naan and taste like bread...if you dont sprinkle water, and only add oil, naan will become hard and crispy..same as indian chor chor naan...

hello how are you both, i hope you both are well and enjoying the weather, its totally old city areas of karachi i mean these areas are 50 years old and burns road's buildings where he is eating arabic paratha, matka kulfi and rabri are constructed before partition and also mentioned the years of construction 1890, 1912 etc and also some mandirs/temples there, he only visited a single area of DHA i.e. DUA HOTEL, DHA is very expensive area of Karachi there is no single bungalow less then 8 to 10 crores and maximum 72 to 450 crores

mark wiens has visit Karachi, and most of the restaurants shown in the video its like road side or highway daba like dua restaurant , in Karachi has very good family restaurant with family room with very nice food. I am watching your videos from last months , you guys are good. I am in Portugal right now and after few days will go back to Karachi. regards

Nihari main origin is Dehli and Javed Nihari full name is Dehli Javed Nihari. They use Camel meat Brain and Nalli which is bone marrow. The cost you see is due to higher dollar rate comparing to India 140 per dollar. Shermal is a different type of roti and you can ask any Delhi guy he will explain

Javed Nihari is the top Nihari spot in Karachi... Sometimes, you have to wait 30 to 40 minutes to get a seat. The best thing is, you won't count the rotties while eating it and it ends daily around 11 PM to 12 PM.

THE PANI THING ON ROTI It's not naan, it's "Sheer Maal", a sweet version of naan, they are sprinkling warm sugar syrup on naan to make it sweet. Usually it's sweetened condensed milk inside dough..

Nihari meat normally is beef ....but you can get nihari in chkn as well in some restaurant but typically it is made with beef .
