That moment when you realise a gori has explored your country more than you😂 Now for the serious part, my heart fills with immense pleasure. The stereotypical image which people have about Pakistan frustrates me at times and leaves me to wonder if we have nothing good to offer? I live in Karachi and it has only been recently that law and order has restored here. Things were not the same few years back, my cousins living in different parts of the country always used to ask "Kaisy rehty ho, dar nai lagta, Karachi me tou blasts hoty hain, firing itni hoti hai." I used to laugh off their queries but a point came when I started getting worried myself. The problem is we, on a whole, have this habit of seeing things from others' perspective and not bother to see the other side. I am glad there are people (though very few) who have their own vision and who know to bring out the positives. A big thanks to Eva and taking this opportunity, I want to thank both of you and all other reaction channels who watch our dramas, songs, culture and appreciate it. Thank you for highlighting the best we have. P.S. Sorry for this long, emotional post but can't help when it comes to Pakistan ❤️

her work and approach is already being appreciated at Govt. and private level.......even PIA also invited her to do explore different cities and show it through her vlogs....she is being interviewed by Government and private channels to inspire people to visit Pakistan....this is Eva's 2nd tour to Pakistan....and a very long one

The West has such misconceptions about this part of the world. India faces the same problem too where a lot of Western people tend to think that it's just one giant slum. Though it's even worse with Pakistan cuz apparently we're pro-terrorism "savages" who live in deserts and like killing people. I wish I was exaggerating. Have you heard of that controversy from the TV show Homeland? Where they depicted Islamabad as some war torn desert where bombs kept going off every five minutes and all the women were covered head to toe in burqas. It was honestly so frustrating that they did this, especially to a place like Islamabad, which is so green and peaceful. It perpetuates the already terrible impression people have about the lifestyle over here. I've met users online who get surprised when they find out I'm from Pakistan because they thought we didn't have internet. 🤦‍♀️ Matlab hadh hai. Kher, my point in this is that it feels very good when someone from that part of the world visits us with an open mind, experiences our culture, and then at the end of it says "everything we've been told is wrong". It's so validating. I don't want to sound cheesy and emotional but the people over here have a lot of love and hospitality to share to those willing to take a chance to experience it. Mark Twain said, "Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry and narrowmindedness" and I genuinely believe that. If only people were more willing to explore different parts of the world themselves or at least research about it instead of blindly believing everything they've been told in the media, then I genuinely feel that as a whole, we'd be more accepting towards each other. Sorry speech likh di maine cuz yeh thora touchy topic hai hamare liye. I know we don't need anyone's approval, but still, it's just that these misconceptions that everyone has can be pretty tiring sometimes. But like Eva said, positivity tou barqarar rakhni hai so we'll merrily keep doing our thing regardless. And you guys keep doing yours, because you're doing a great job with this channel!
