I went school at UT Austin and I was working part time and studying. Some weeks I could barely make enough to eat good food (Remember that at the time minimum wage is Texas was around 6.50$) So I used to have a lot of instant Ramen. My Indian landlord noticed all the cup noodles and came up to my room one day and said “you can have dinner with us everyday if you wish. You will always have a seat at my table. Don’t ruin your health eating this” (points to the cup). The best landlord I ever had. Even when they go on family vacations he used to check up on me and he always had one question “are you eating well?”. You can’t fake love and care like that. I have lost count of how many delicious meals I have had with him and family. To this day I can’t go a week without cooking Indian food. Thanks to Mr and Mrs Selvan

When I was in ukraine for 6 hours wait for my flight , those people were really rude to me without any reason and didn't helped me at all but I'm glad being an Indian its better to show respect and help , this thing makes me happy 🇮🇳❤️

Such free food service is part of the Indian culture ....In my state, During Pandharpur walking wari of 18-19 days , Navratri, Janmashtami etc and many small religious festivals free food is distributed....Many temples offer free food throughout year exa Chakarwadi near Kej or Manjarsumba in Beed District offers food 22 hrs per day throughout year....and the strange part is noone knows who is the donor....People simply bring rice bags, vegetables ,wheat bags, oil cans in tractor/ bullcart/ truck and unload in Temple's assigned area ...No receipt, no record .... Volunteers prepare food & keep in the pendal...Rest is self service
Canada has free food banks and all the Indian students here flood there during the day. Do the Canadians go about beating chest saying we are proud to be a Canadian and this is our culture. This show of fake pride and nationalism is why no one takes india or indians seriously. Respect is earned not bought.

@@amritabanerjeejoy08 Its not my opinion, Its a fact. India has so far abstained from any crucial voting on Ukrain-Russia conflict. This led to lot of anti-Indian sentiment among Ukrainians. We all saw how badly Indian students were treated in Ukraine during the rush to get of the conflict zone in initial months.
I know this man, he has a Ukrainian wife and he stayed with his wife and children when russia attacked (reported by Indian news channel). Now he's doing well

This inspires me a lot to carry forward those values we have in our culture …being from a homeland I see people can learn so much from this land ..where once KABIR lived .No one went back without food from his house ..even when he didn’t have resources for next day meals ..people kept coming and got feed and welcomed every day ..that never failed ..ig he was rich (not on income part or resources in pre modern world ).
