It looks amazing. 👌 👍 The triple scrub was excellent customer service. The stubborn black spots would have annoyed me too, if I were doing the job, alongside you.
The phrase "above and beyond" springs to mind here. There was absolutely no shifting those last tiny bits. Astounding transformation, and such excellent commitment to the job. Well done, love your work ethic. Thank you for the upload.
Good god, I truly cannot see how you can consider this job a fail!!!!! You worked that patio to within an inch of its life. No one could have done a better job. Thanks for sharing. Good Job!!!
Looks a thousand times better than when you started, the colours came up lovely. Talk about persistence on your part, well done, you certainly went beyond what anyone would expect to get a great result.
Great job Nick, sometimes it’s more difficult to manage your own expectations than the customers! I did a similar job today-I think the last time it’d been cleaned Noah was a kid. Keep the videos coming
Hi Nick. For me your videos are informative and instructive. The subtitles are helping us to understand what is happening at job site. Cheers from Helsinki, construction worker.
Fantastic job, really helpful to see under what circumstances you decide to use a stronger mix of SH. Please keep the videos coming and thanks for the work in putting them together.
Great job Nick I hate that when there's just a few spots left but there does become a point where you could if done another hour of treatment and still not get rid of all the spots but it looks amazing mate 👍
What I do nick is bring a flask of hot water when it's very cold, some hypo needs heat to get active 100%, and some hypo can work in the cold, depends on ingredients, agri supply stores sell "cold shot" and "hot shot" hypo for milking tanks. Farmers run a hot wash and a cold wash through milking pipes. I also place the drum of hypo near the power washer, warms it up 😉 You did a great job Nick.
Love the good old xjet application. So satisfying to watch. If I was the customer, I would be super happy about the outcome, turned out lovely. But the title of the video made me chuckle 😁 Long time and glad to see you nick 😊
How’s stubborn was that black spot to remove!! Great persistence there Nick. I bet you hardly ever go neat. Looking at the state of those slabs before you started it surprised me that you managed to remove as much as you did. 🔥👊🏻💥
Don't worry Nick, the result is super, don't be so hard on yourself 🙂 Good choice of music, the mix of music and real sound while the first round of softwashing has an interesting touch. Both fit very well together, because the music is quite calm. I just wonder what's up with these stupid GoPro cameras. Sid is also suffering from crashes. That's not what I would expect from expensive outdoor cameras. 🤨
Hi Tatjana, aw thanks, you're super kind, bless you 😊. Yeah I agree in regards to the cameras, they can be glitchy, even when new. Unfortunately though, mine are quite old, I use a Hero Black 7 & 8, both have been dropped, scraped and bashed around, they've had a hard life, so can't be too mean about them. I'm amazed they're still running sometimes, after what they've been through 🤣
@@PrestigeExternalCleaning That explains it to some extend. I see, so you are a rather rough guy, I'm quite surprised 😉 Still, they do advertising for offroad and skiing filming, so the cameras should be able to endure some action.
👋 Forgetting your flat surface cleaner is like a hairdresser forgetting to take her scissors to work. Haha. You need to check your check list! Great job with the turbo tho! 🙂
😆😆 very true, unfortunately I do something like that, at least once a moth, sometimes i think I need to check my brain, rather than my check list 🤦🏻♂️
Hi Nick, well the end result was a huge transformation over the start point, I'm sure the customer was happy as they'll have not seen their patio look that good for quite a while. Good job buddy! (Just out of curiosity did you not have your heat with you?)👍👍
Hi mate, cheers buddy. I don't carry the boiler, unless it's for a specific job mate. Heat might have taken a few more spots off, but I doubt it would have taken them all. Sometimes they're so ingrained, you just have to accept defeat. I always make a point of managing the customers expectations, by saying it's likely I can remove them all, but I can't guarantee it, as some little b*ggers just refuse to let go. I've never had anyone be bothered by a few remaining spots if they've been pre-warned. 🙂👍
To be fair that black spot is a nightmare on indian sandstone isn't. You did an amazing job to get get to that.If people seal there patios with the correct sealants that helps or 3 times a year just bleach it but they dont and as an installer of these products its frustrating but then you be out of a job 🤣 cracking job mate 👍
Excellent Video Mate! ❤👏🏽Love all your videos Chops! Please do a video on how to quote jobs Don't need to know any prices or nothing like that just for those whoS JUSTING starting Pressuring
Geez you had one of those mornings Nick, first the Gopro & then the fsc 🤯🤦♂️ Great results though mate as that sandstone was nasty 🤢 Those remaining blackspots will fade as the UV breaks them down ✊
Thanks buddy, always great to hear from you. 🤣yeah, I have more mornings like that, than I care to admit 😏. Worked out okay in the end though....sort of 😉
Hi mate, really enjoy your videos as just in the process of setting up my own business. Can I ask where you get the gun that you use with the x jet?. Cheers.
Hi Mate. Them black spots are hard to shift. I had the same last year. You can't do know more than you did so how do you go about explaining to a customer who isn't as understanding as these customers?
Hi Robert. Cheers mate. I always explain before the job, full removal is certainly possible, but I can't guarantee it. I've never had anyone say they didn't want the job done when i've said that. If it all comes off, they're super happy, if not, they new it was a possibility, so they're fine with it
You weren't going to let that beat you, I guarantee you in 4 weeks all the black spot will be gone, it holds on for dear life particularly in natural stone. Is there a certain pressure you run the x jet at ? Currently using a chemical bowser for applying hypo or biocide, but you have to be very adapt in guessing how much product to mix to avoid waste.
Thanks very much mate 🙂. I've never really taken much notice of the pressure, I just go by how it feels, I can tell you the unloader is turned almost right down though 👍. Thanks for the great comment 🙂
