A documentary chronicling the life of one of the finest Scientists, born in India, the world has seen. His seminal work in establishing the theory of the existence of the sub-atomic particle, named Boson, in his honour, was proven by researchers only in the mid-90s. For their work, the researchers were awarded the Nobel Prize for Physics in 2001.
He also worked alongside Scientific greats like Madam Curie & Albert Einstein during the course of his work.
A giant among Scientists, he was also a polyglot, with interests that extended to other branches of science too. He also held a great interest & command over the Bengali language & played Esraj, a musical instrument with great skill.
A brilliant individual, he is an ideal role-model for India that seeks to move ahead & progress

A great contribution to both theoretical and experimental physics. I wish there was a chapter in our high school physics book introducing Prof. Bose and his work to the students.

I was student in Physics department and studied about S>N> BOSe and his papers in Dhaka university physics department have lab designed by probably S>N>BOSE now is a museum and will remain open for all in Dhaka university physics department in Lord Curzon hall ,Dhaka .

Its very strange that people are not aware that Bengal is a state of India, just like Texas is a state of USA. Every Texan is a US citizen, so is every Bengali an Indian citizen. Please also remember that in ancient times, and most recently before 1947, even Pakistan and Bangladesh were also parts of India. So if someone achieved some scientific accomplishment before 1947 in Lahore, it would be considered as an acheivemnet of India, because at the time, Pakistan was not even in existence.

I am pretty sure that he is talking about bangladesh, since he himself is a bangladeshi. However, Satyendranath Bose is a hindu Indian born and raised in kolkata.
