I wouldn't recommend you to go fight him. Men aren't too much different in terms of fear of getting beaten. I commend the people in the recording who did stand up to the man. People weren't just watching. I've personally been in situations where I had to scream and diffuse situations like this too. And I come across violent fights like this once in a year or something. but rn, since I use car, not public transport, I never see no violence in every day life in UK. Also Good on you for avoiding dangerous park, that's how it should be. You're taking measures/actions to make sure you don't go into trouble. Are others also taking doing the same? Often the ones who get into trouble like these, put themselves in dangeous situation. If you went into the park instead of going around, knowing it's dangerous one day, and you get attacked, will you not tell yourself, this wouldn't have happen if I had the common sense to avoid it? This was the case with that woman in the pub just going out of control with drinking, with a complete stranger. Even if you're careful, things can still happen, like in the case of Tjaswini. If you were to take out rate of stabbings in student accomodation, it's much much less than the rate of rape in clubs and bars. In fact, I read a 2016 article the rate of rape in uk bars and clubs increased by 136 percent. Another study/stat says theres 1 report of rape every week in bars/clubs. If I had a daughter, I wouldn't let her go there even if there is a slight risk.
