i am in yiwu , i lead two clients who visit China for the 1st time from Kolkata to Yiwu , Changsha and LiuYang they told me that their best city is more or less as same as LiuYang city, although it's big city for Kolkata and Mumbay but not as clear and well organized as LiuYang in China. A big part of travel to any country is exploring the food. China's food culture has breath as well as tremendous depth much like India or Italy for example. Partaking in a country's food is more than mere sustenance but an act of nuanced appreciation and cultural generosity. Even at its most humble one is diminished by simply dismissing most things as unpalatable.
