Bodhidharma is often credited with introducing Chan (Zen) Buddhism to China and is sometimes referred to as the founder of physical training at the Shaolin temple. It's suggested that the exercises he taught may have eventually evolved into martial arts practices, but these claims are mostly speculative and part of tradition, with little historical evidence to support them. While there is a cultural exchange between India and China, especially in the area of philosophy and religion, it's not accurate to say that India "taught" Kung Fu to China. Each culture has developed their own unique martial arts traditions over the centuries. For instance, India has its own traditional martial arts like Kalaripayattu from Kerala.
