I saw a video of another Indian vlogger in China just yesterday who also claimed that an Indian monk came and taught Chinese Kung Fu to China. Just the sound of it is ridiculous and is totally wrong and false. Please don't go around claiming an ancient Chinese art and tradition as somehow Indian. Kung Fu has been in practice in China hundreds if not thousands of years in China before any Indian came to China. Each family/clan, area or domain have their own version of Kung Fu. The monk came to spread Buddhism n taught the Chinese meditation, that's all. Meditation involves long hours of sitting still so the Chinese combined it with their Kung Fu to relieve cramps n stay healthy. The 2 r the perfect antidote for each other. Monks also don't marry so have time n condition to hone their Kung Fu skills then passing it down the generation till now. There r many different styles of Kung Fu in China and Shaolin is just one of them so please get your facts right n don't be so ignorant.
@@merryweather4988 Third Brother was really weird. Because the Indian monk had been to Shaolin Temple, Chinese martial arts were taught by Indians. This idea is very Indian. The question is, where are the Indian martial arts? Is it recorded in history? Do you have a copy? Just one example?
@@Funny-meta6 If we see in the pages of history, Buddhism was flourishing in India, but when in 800 AD, the so-called Hindu religion😢 captured the Mahayana branch of Buddhism and imposed its imaginary deity on us. But even in today's era, the knowledge of Buddha is there in other countries which is guiding the humanity.😊🙏
Buddhism comes from Nepal, not India. Don’t be so shameful going around claiming what was others to be yours. Traditional Indian is Hinduism which practice a caste system with a miserable untouchable class of people and relegating women to 2 or 3rd class citizen. To this day women still suffers from rape and oppression daily.
It's completely wrong. This is a fake story created by monks in Shaolin Temple in ancient times (the same as Disney princess stories). This is to cover up the identity of the "Shaolin Temple monk "as a secret soldier (including the kung fu master recruited in various regions, gangsters, thieves ...). From the outside, their image is the same as other Buddhist monks. This is to prevent civilians from suspecting that they are "fake Buddhist monks". Because the real Buddhist is harmless (otherwise the Chinese emperor will not let Buddhism exist). It is impossible for them to learn and practice kung fu. Funny is not a formal and true Chinese historical record. It is not recognized and without factual basis. Because it is completely unreasonable. appeared 400 years after Dharma's death. The reason for the creation was because of the Chinese background and situation at that time (replaced the dynasty. The soldiers of the former dynasty were chased and killed). This is the creative story. It is not a historical content. All China Shaolin Temple is Taoist architectural style (including Chinese Buddhist temples). There is no Indian architectural style. The monk of Shaolin Temple wore traditional Chinese clothing. Chinese Buddhism only retains the content of Buddhism (and the image and ideas of the Chinese to the Buddha). Mixed -class a large number of Taoism and Confucian culture can be accepted by ancient Chinese (most ancient Chinese people think that Buddhism is the religion of Chinese religion. . Until modern Chinese talents know).
It is true that Shaolin Temple, built by an ancient Indian Buddhist monk, Bodhi Dharma, and that is featured in the South Indian movie Chennai vs China. Next you visit Australia and New Zealand 👍.

kung fu first developed in ancient China about 211 BC. The Shaolin monks are credited with introducing the contemporary variations in the fifth century AD. Kung Fu is one of the most well-known martial arts today, with many of its systems having their roots in the Shaolin Temple
Awesome video bro. Lovely, mesmerizing temple. You didn't show the live Shaolin performances. They also have several shows running throughout the day I believe. Anyways, nxt show us Japan, Bangkok, Bali or Indonesia...
Shaolin Monastery (少林寺; shǎolínsì), also known as Shaolin Temple, is a renowned monastic institution recognized as the birthplace of Chan Buddhism and the cradle of Shaolin Kung Fu. It is located at the foot of Wuru Peak of the Songshan mountain rangein Dengfeng County, Henan Province, China. The name reflects its location in the ancient grove (林; lín) of Mount Shaoshi, in the hinterland of the Songshan mountains.[i]Mount Song occupied a prominent position among Chinese sacred mountains as early as the 1st century BC, when it was proclaimed one of the Five Holy Peaks (五岳; wǔyuè).[1] It is located some 48 km (30 mi) southeast of Luoyang, the former capital of the Northern Wei Dynasty (386-534), and 72 km (45 mi) southwest of Zhengzhou, the modern capital of Henan Province.[2]
Felt very nice seeing shaolin temple brother. What's important is we had thought that china is like technologically advanced north korea where you find only kim jong, his father, grandpa statues, kind of absolute communist with extreme dictatorship. But that curtain has come down. It was very nice series from you. We keep seeing all other countries of interest very regularly but china had become a grey patch. That is gone now.
Going out more in the future, there won't be such a big deviation in our understanding of the world. China has always been open. You will find that the Chinese people are free to eat, drink, and play, earn money, and travel around the world. The number of outbound tourists in China reaches 300 million annually.
@@adder-li6uc Yup I understand but the impression we had about china was like that. Now that has come down. Certainly I would love to visit china next.
@@user-xz8ez1sq9v may be but as of now I have the impression of what any vlog on youtube shows about NK and since NK hardly has any business transaction with outside world except china and as NK hardly provides any visa and provides only guided tour service of specific places, I think the same impression is going to remain. I have even seen that many chinese are also curious to see NK in some of the vlogs on yt. What's more interesting about china? Except few mao portraits, haven't seen any of his or other chinese leaders statues in any vlogs.
Your stereotype of NK is very wrong and fed from CIA propaganda. NK, though not a rich country due to illegal and inhumane US sanctions, has a higher living standard than the average Indian.
The preservation of martial arts and a culture that does it whether gentle tai chi or even yoga in India , along with meditation is great. We need to train the mind and the body as a culture, society. So any country that does this whole societal wide way will ensure their society is free of or less mental illness and diseases like diabetes.
Thanks brother I m Bruce lee lover and very exited to see these places ..and your analysis and style of blog is too easy and understandable..thanks a lot ❤
