0:38 the grocey shop on the left SMT Fruit and Veg was owned by the family of Samaira Nazir before she was mudered by her family just down the road when she refused to marry her cousin in 2005.
My mother came to England in 1946 aged 16 from Ireland. There wasn't any benefits, NHS, housing list, community groups or cushy jobs on the underground. She worked as a cleaner / domestic servant all her life and never considered social housing as an option. There was no overcrowding in Irish houses, it wasn't anything to do with the 'housing list'. She worked or didn't eat, was spat on in the street but never screamed about discimination.
