Protect CC’s mental health. Pregame media with CC no longer necessary. She’s a strong person, but let’s keep her that way. This is for wins. Have CC and Sides dedicate their pregame mental energy on the court. Have an assistant coach or other team leader do at least a few of the remaining pregame media. This ultimately cares for the mental health of your team. It also can allow the fans get to know other key members of the Fever team. I am definitely not alone in thinking CC can be omitted from pregame media as commented on other channels.
At 22 years old, she is much more mature and has a better attitude than most of the older players and coaches in the WNBA. That just goes to show: OLD doesn't mean WISE.
Cream always rises to the top. The gift of work ethic has been developed and nurtured by the people around her since starting her basketball career. Her physical maturity at WNBA level will continue to grow. That will enhance her mental execution of adapting to getting every team’s best effort.
The Fever are the real deal! What an amazing turnaround from the start of the season. The most fun basketball to watch I’ve seen in years. So cool to see all the hard work paying off, enjoy the ride!
I'm glad the reporter asked coach Sides how she's doing. This was most probably a really tough journey for her as well. And I'm not gonna lie, I was one of those people who were really harsh on her early in the season. From the outside is just seemed like she didn't know what she had in Caitlin and she was stuck in her ways with the old, slow, half court style of basketball. But I'm so happy things are clicking and the team seems happy and stronger than ever. We ain't stopping till the finals!
She held in a lot with all the initial losses, couch coaches, haters, trolls… good grief! So glad she stood firm, persisted in the work, and now has a string of high quality Ws to show for it. Indeed! Solid answer.
I thought last game was very well coached. Is it just me? It was a surprise. Maybe shes a genius and we didnt know. This team is starting to play like a well oiled machine. Maybe they finally understand the offense shes been teaching them. I have to say the defense has been looking solid the last 4 games. Benching Wallace helped. Wheeler has been playing differently
I’ve been saying since early season that Sides is fine. She hasn’t always been great, but the team also hasn’t always been great. I think she’s had the right focuses for the team all season and has led them to great heights. I also always said early on that the fever ran so many good plays that created shots they would just not make. Now they are making those shots, but too many people put everything on sides and not I. The team just not playing their best. I love everyone in this organization having watched from min 1
@@mattparks8434I’m with you. The whole Fire Sides/ Worst Coach thing was out of control and rather thoughtless. She’s had to adapt and she did. There is definitely other coaching staff in the W that haven’t built and sustained healthy foundations for their players. These teams implode and then have to rebuild yet again. Glad the development of the Fever is in a positive direction. I wish this good growth for all sports teams actually!
@@jeaniekim9951 100%. Well said. She not only had to learn how to coach CC's style of play, she had to teach the whole team how to play this style with the roughest start to the season imaginable. Not enough grace given to Sides and I think the second half of the season will really showcase that while Sides isn't perfect, she's been doing a great job of building this team throughout the season and keeping them motivated and getting better every day.
Lmao, Sides is still a joke of a coach. You better remember 9 of the 16 loses were actually caused by Sides. Sides had to learn to let her talent play to their strength and not restrict them like she did in the first half of the season. Don't forget that Sides was also throwing several players under the bus(especially Clark) every time she blew 10 point plus leads and losing games
@thomaswakefield6889 I didn't like the way she started either but I'm not unreasonable like I said the game against Chicago was coached very well. The rotations were perfect. They finally have a good offense going. Took a long time but it's finally working. Can't deny the facts
I thought she looked sick or really tired. She never smiled and looked really intense or stressed. Fever had to be tired after the overly rough Sky game.
Love the question to Coach Sides about how she’s doing. That’s gotta be a stressful job and so many people believe have criticized her decisions without understanding her vision. Say what you want, she’s doing a lot of things right with this squad.
No Christy, you and other players finally accepted CC is special and the star and should be making plays on the floor. You all adjust to each other take down the egos. CC is the money maker, she is the MJ of WNBA, the goat. Keep it up Sides, i'll give you 7/10 on this one.

I love coach Sides character, humility, focus on what matters: her players and the team. She has transformed this team in such a short period of time. She has done a great job recruiting the right type of player ( meaning character). And this is why I LOVE the fever and I want my kid to learn from them. In my opinion, Character and attitude is more important than basketball at the end of the day.
Dang if these girls can tighten up the layups... The game yesterday could've been a blowout! But too many missed layups! I think they'll get there though...
Sides is not a coach. CC is running the team and the fever ladies are playing Lisa Bluder basketball. Sides and Dunn should be fired and hire Lisa Bluder
