that is true, but Wallace or Berger have got to step up ball out so CC can get a least a 2 minute rest in first 3 quarters. All that ball handling, running around and chasing Sun offensive players is exhausting. by 4th quarter her legs are shot. The same for Kelsey, we have to be able to give her a few minutes rest. Lexi, Dantas and Fagbenle have to score or draw fouls on Sun.

Smith sits on the bench this game. She isn’t digging deep enough to actually produce and she doesn’t care too. She’s more interested in “not”’sleeping on the couch so she isn’t engaged in the team. Carrington is obviously the one with the control and Smith is too afraid to actually beat her.
@@houdini_sports I totally agree Smith has been inconsistent this year. It seems like multiple times in the season I'm ready to give up on her. But then she's randomly really helpful and impactful in a breakout game - on rebounds or makes shots she'd been blowing over multiple back, to back, to back games. I get the impression she's not as cerebral of a player as most of the rest of the Fever squad. I think that could make it harder to continue to improve over time.
With Kelly now president, and having experience with the Pacers and The fever in the past, I wouldn’t be surprised if they asked Lynn Dunn to retire and fire Christie Sides after they lose wednesday.

Kelly Krauskopf, the new president, is likely the most qualified individual in the world for that position. There are zero second thoughts with this higher. They went after the best and got it. They now have the best person in the league running the organization and the best player in the league on the court.

Those long three point shots she is complaining about are what make the game fun to watch and rile up the crowd to support the players - not to mention those shots are what helped get them to the playoffs in the first place. I realize that the two best shooters were both off last game but that is unlikely to happen twice in a row and even if it did adjustments could be made midgame. Why coach them to avoid those shots from the onset?

Playing at pace with confidence and taking those 3-point shots whenever possible is how the Fever got here. It also help to keep the Sun's defence guessing and creates more space for shooters like Lexi, Kelsey and Damires.
