I'm happy my Mystics won in front of the largest regular season crowd in WNBA history! The crowd definitely was Caitlin Clark/Fever bandwagon heavy though. It's like when LeBron James or Michael Jordan plays at a visiting arena.

I feel like the WNBA plays more efficiently as a League, more fundamental basketball like bounce passing moving the ball around the perimeter more, I'm just kidding every player involved. I feel like the NBA is all about individual efforts, more showboating, just not respecting the game as much.

I watched the game on Prime. The commentator only talked about the Mystics. I'll be surprised if she praised ANY Fever player ... all game long. And I just realized this is THE ... WNBA ... channel's 'Highlights'??? They didn't get the early season scheduling right. They totally bungled their responses to aggression against CC. They sent old Diana Taurasi [however great she may have been] to gather another Gold at the Olympics while warming the bench - instead of Caitlin. Who knows WHERE they got some of their Refs from. This 'highlights' video is symbolic of their entire 2024 season so far.

She must be absolutely exhausted and still plays like the MVP that she is, after a gruelling season winning the WBBL and European double with the Lions. Fast forward a few months and she’s playing in the WNBA playoff series, doing us Lions proud. Clark, Boston and Mitchell rested for Sunday but the bench did brilliantly. 🦁🏀 🇬🇧

Check the box scores, Fever's starters played limited miniutes with the bench dominating this game. Wallace, who has been getting junk time minutes, played 25+ and scored 17. I think coach Sides is getting minutes and confidence in her bench players, thinking about the play-offs.

For everyone here saying that the Mystics beat the Fever as if it mattered, let me explain this to you, the Fever didn't play their starters anywhere near the amount of time they usually do, they are resting their stars a bit this game with the playoffs coming up. Let me use Caitlin Clark as an example, in her last five games before this one, here are the minutes she played in each: 36, 45, 38, 34, 36. In this game Caitlin Clark only played 20 minutes, which is just a little over half of the typical time she plays. This was not the Fever putting 100% into this game. Congrats to the Mystics for getting the win, but half of the people here in the comments really didn't catch on as to what happened this game.
