I love the banter. The side eyes and dismissive no's to nick's vast film knowledge are the highlights to my week. You guys are the siskel and ebert of today but with classy professionalism that is conveyed as lovers of the medium of film. Even the Toby Keith misstep you guys not only kept it but inserted the photo that had me rewinding it twice. Thank you both this channel rocks.

Thank god i find someone and a channel where Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom is appreciated as it should be. That is the best Indy movie for me, a fun but also dark toned rollercoaster ride that contains the best adventure spirit.

I liked Shia LaBeouf's character actually, kinda shitty how they offscreened his character 😂. Mads Mikkelsen is fantastic in everything so I'm not surprised to hear he's a standout. The movie IDENTITY is a favorite of mine. I wonder what you guys think of that 🎬

It makes sense why they did that though considering every time he’s in the limelight, something goes bad, and I believe he’s still in that lawsuit with his ex girlfriend FKA Twigs, that he admitted to abusing and apologized for. I understand why they wouldn’t want to mix themselves up in that kind of stuff, if fans already didn’t like him as a character and now they don’t even like the actor, what’s the point of the paycheck?

The Soderbergh cut of Raiders was actually a lot more entertaining than it should be. All black and white. No dialogue or original score- it’s replaced with some Trent Reznor scores. But the visuals are incredibly striking

I enjoyed all the Indiana Jones movies (yes, even crystal skull, to a lesser degree) so I might check this out in theatres. I love most of mangolds films, with Logan being in my top 5 comic films. Great review guys!

I hated the film. Phoebe Waller-Bridge is the hero, while Indy is treated like a geriatric sidekick in his own movie. Helena is so annoying. The first 30 minutes were really good, but the rest of the film is a real slog.

The first 30 minutes feels like an Indiana Jones film. But when Phoebe Waller-Bridge's character comes in, her character Helena totally ruins the film. She is so annoying. She's the hero of the film, while Harrison Ford ends up looking like a geriatric sidekick in his own movie...she's totally rude to him. This movie destroys the legacy of Indy. It should be called Indiana Jones and the Abusive Care Giver.

You both shared the story so cutely, I went back to being a kid in the early 80s , thank you~🎥🎞🎞I giggled with Joseph's note about how handsome and grumpy Harrison was back in the day 😆💋 I am a total anomaly but the appeal of Phoebe Waller-Brdige escapes me...she seems to always play a version of herself, a smart, quick but highly privileged, very elitist, myopic soul.. like I am told I need to dig her as a feminist rather than seeing anything that connects me, but I totally ackinowledge I am a Gen Xer and she is a Millennial muse, so I may just be too old to get it.

Loved your review, for my part loved the original 3, took repression drugs for crystal mah and this one, well the VFX young hot Harrison Ford was totally on board with but the rest was only so so, but for anyone your side of the world (I'm on the emerald Isle) who hasn't watched Fleabag, you guys are missing out, if for nothing else the "hot" priest in seasons 2 storyline is worth the effort...tell me I'm wrong 😊

3.5/5 stars is the perfect score for this movie. I liked it and almost didn't watch it due to the negative reviews. I would definitely watch it again, and my favorite part of the movie was when they went back in time to Greece. And I agree, more of the movie should have been them going back in time.

I don’t see how you all do it. Some of these movies would be so tempting to just walk out of. Sounds like one big chase sounds like the previous Indiana Jones films and that can get tiresome. John Wick IV turned into a chase scene. It seems to be the way a lot of directors have decided to handle the storyline. Thanks for reviewing this movie and I’ll google how long it is because I’d like to see the 2014 BC part too. Do you ever review Indian movies? I just saw the long Indian movie Adipurush and it was quite a spectacle. Three hours roughly. It was good to beat the heat on a hot afternoon.

So disappointed in this movie. All the other Indiana Jones were hopeful and full of adventure and joy. This thing is so soulless and dark. People are murdered left in right when it absolutely wasn’t needed at all. The film comes to s dead stop midway through when Indiana talks about his son being killed in Vietnam. The film is too long (30 minutes longer than any of the other 4 films) and dark as hell. When it’s over Indiana Jones and Marian are broken people dead …WTF.
