Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril (French: Indiana Jones et le Temple du Péril) is a roller coaster attraction at Disneyland Park (Paris). It opened on 30 July 1993. Based on the Indiana Jones films, guests are taken on an adventure riding in a mining train through a lost temple. The attraction was sponsored by Esso.

The ride opened in 1993 with huge plans for an Indiana Jones themed land within Adventure land at Disneyland Paris. The land would have had a jungle cruise style boat ride and this rollercoaster would have been much longer with an indoor section based off of the temple of doom. However at the time the park known as Euro Disney was in serious financial peril so the final product was the fairly short coaster we have today. Indiana Jones et le Temple du Péril did have a slight makeover in the early 2000s when the ride was reconfigured to go backwards but it’s since changed back to the original

Was a lot more fun when it went backwards but just to stressful on the tracks. This entire land area needs more Indiana stuff like maybe a stunt show haha
