@@wlenser I’m from Philadelphia, PA. I followed the hatchet_force Instagram too after I found your channel haha. You have so many awesome videos on here I can’t believe it.
11:35 ah see you can’t even show the Swastika these days, even though it’s historically accurate for the time. Disney had it replaced with the iron cross in the current stunt shows. Heck they wouldn’t even show it in the Captain America movie full fledged. How did we become so PC?
I still have one of the plastic Nazi belt buckle emblems that they used to glue to the German soldier costume belts. It had fallen off one of the costumes. It too had the Swastica on it. Its a little bigger than a half dollar coin.
@@wlenser you should see the latest iteration of the show from last year. It’s got a “woke” face lift as in many of the exciting effects were taken away, the audience no longer gets invited up to participate in the second act, the marketplace swordsman is gone, thugs had their turbans/masks taken away (probably because they thought it was racist to middle easterners), and the German Mechanic doesn’t get chopped up anymore. And of course the denazification of Swastika Symbols because it’s just so bad for Disney now, despite historical accuracy.
@@wlenser yeah that was part of the marketplace swordsman bit where he gets shot and a few other firefight moments with the Nazi Afrika Korps Soldiers - they stopped that too most likely because it was “offensive or not nice.”
@@wlenser yeah, btw, I did some digging on RU-vid, found some home videos of Miami Vice and Wild Wild West in Hollywood, also even found the A Team show (though like 3 vids). If you'd like to re live some memories or something, I guess ya could give the playlists a look, though I can't wait to add your vid on Miami Vice, lol. (I've become quite a fan of that stunt show in a non creepy way XD)
Hey I’ve been wanting to be a stunt man in theme park shows for a while I’m still 17 but when I’m 18 I wanna try and audition for Some. Is there any tips or tricks that you would say could help me to get the job?
Hey Dustin! Always enjoy seeing you perform and your behind the scenes footage. How high was the high fall you do in the Cairo scene? I was also wondering the height of the high fall for the wild west show where Hopper hits the boards at the end. Thanks!
Hey Jonathan, glad you like the videos! Hmm, if I recall correctly, the Cairo building was 28ft to the roof but the fall pad was almost 6ft tall. Really nice sized pad! So the fall was 22-23ft. As for the West board fall, it was about 22-23ft to the ground. That pad is buried in the ground which you technically fall all the way to, except for hitting the boards about 2.5-3ft above that.
@@wlenser awesome! I was always wondering about those falls. I'm touring with a wild West stunt show and do a 13 foot high fall but the pad is about 2.5 feet tall.
@Wicked Lenser did you play the role of Indy in 1993? Me and my family were there that year, was alot of fun! Even if that was not you at the time, loved the vod here of you playing the role :) I am sure Disney went through alot of actors over the past 30 years.
@@wlenser, I wouldn’t be surprised if some wanted to keep the swastikas so the scenes could stay similar to the movie (since in the movies, they used swastikas)
