There's an easy trick for the whip holder. Just stick a toothpick or something similar between the belt and the figure to create a little space behind the hole. Now you should be able to stick the pin all the way through to the other side. Once the pin is secure, remove the toothpick. Worked perfectly for me and the pin has stayed in ever since. That pin is just too gummy to push all the way through the belt, when the belt is flush with the figure. The tip of the pin has to come out the other side for the pin to hold - and a little room behind the belt helps with that.
The best way I found to get the belt peg in, is to use the bottom of a Lego brick separator. You just shove the peg in with it. It’s also wide enough to not damage the peg.
what I did to solve the issue with the whip holding loop thing is to loop a bit of black twist tie around the belt and then cut it to the same length as the provided loop and it works perfectly and doesn't look off at all.
If you move the belt up to where is waist joint is there is enough room to have the peg for his whip holder to go in and stay there. Did it with mine and it hasn’t come off since. Plus the other figures are great as well.
I have been working on custom Indy figures since the line came out. I have done Lao Che, Nepal Marion, a repaint of the Temple of Doom Indy, crystal Skull Indy, Col. Dovchenko, Last Crusade Salah, Last Crusade Marcus, Mutt and a German Mechanic and Cairo Swordsman. I am waiting on custom heads for Col. Spalko, Col. Dietrich and Col. Vogel. I am in the process of finishing up a club Obi Wan Willie Scott. I also am planning to do Mola Ram at some point. I am now working on a great Circle Indy using the hoth Han solo as a base. The line ended too soon but it is great seeing the other customs the community have done. There's also a few places that arw offering various accessories to help and round out some of the gaps. The gridiron studios belt and whip are great. You have Scott's prop box where he has some custom goods for the line. And Syndicate customs has a few head sculpts.
Actually you could buy a 1/6th scale Indy figure with removable hat at The Disney MGM Studios theme park ( what it was called back then) and the Disney store in Down Town Disney ( what it was called back then) back in the day. It came with a great display base and cement blocks and things that you could pose him on. Also had the little golden idol and other accessories.
Overall is good, but the hat doesn't come off, and that pisses me off. I might try to customize it for that. I also glued the whip holder so it doesn't fall off.
When the figures were first announced, I was super excited for the release. When they finally were available, I lost enthusiasm for them. I don’t know what happened. 😂
I’d like to have Indy but I’m not interested in the rest. I haven’t seen one in a store yet, but I have seen the others so it’s clear he’s the most popular.
This is the only wave of any toy line that makes me want to get the wave just to build the ark! Your right though, I only want to get the indy figure! Lol
I pre-ordered the first wave on BBTS, and I've gotten all but the Gestapo agent so far. This Indy figure is really cool, but, yeah, not being able to close the whip on the belt is an annoying little issue. From what I've seen, this line looks to be filled with more Indiana figures than side characters. This could be due to people only wanting Indy, but I hope the line doesn't fizzle out. I want to see more characters and variations of these figures.
I'm worried about this too. The line looks great but they should've spread out the Indy figures. Like why do we need 3 versions of Indy in a single wave. Or 2 suited versions of him almost one after the other. If the line does continue, what are you going to give us after the announced figures. Just side characters with no Indy figures? I doubt it
I own the Toht figure from this wave. I want Indy from the wave but I feel like the quality of the Toht figure is a little flimsy. The plastic is extremely soft and not the kind of plastic that holds up well over time. I’m really hoping that the next wave from temple of doom is of higher quality. I love your work and always enjoy your content, this was an awesome video
Hey thanks for noticing 🤣 it’s some custom packaging I made for my patrol trooper. I planned on making a video about it, but I wasn’t super happy with the result, so I didn’t make one!

Did you try to switch heads which Han figure to make him without the hat? I think they do that head because it is a joke on the movies that Indiananever loss the hat 😂😂😂 Cool figure definitely has to have on the colecction
The shock and horror i felt seeing the cheesy, low budget, low end , low blow engineering by hascrap on this action figure dolly is going to make me seek trauma support group therapy. Hascrap should be ashamed of their crappy work on this one that words can't describe the outrage and furious anger i feel as i lay my wrath on them 😝
