Around 4:30 p.m. Eastern time, Master Trooper James Bailey was assisting other troopers on Interstate 69 with traffic backup caused by weather-related crashes when he heard over the radio a pursuit involving Fort Wayne Police Department was coming his way Trooper Bailey went to deploy stop-sticks in the road when the suspect hit and killed him
