The win against the Steelers was a lot of things - a fluke is not among them. Flukes require a great whistle and odd turnovers. Colts forced turnovers that were well earned, and the whistle sucked for the Colts.

@@KentSterling I love Joe Flacco I got to see him play a few years ago when he was on Broncos playing the Colts. If I recall he didn't move the ball terribly effectively. We had Jacoby Brissett at the time. Point I'm making I guess is we had Darrius/Shaquille Leonard balling out. Joe flacco will keep you in a game, sometimes he's not the best closer per say. My opinion if a guy can keep you in the game he viable starter. If it happens to be him I'm going root my butt off for him becsuse it's still a TEAM game and they're quite a few capable players on the outside who can make flacco look great. The yac the colts have had after catches I dont know statically but from the eye test they doing well. I'm so happy for Alec Pierce dude has the skill set to be a somewhere between a Wes Welker and Cooper Kupp. Downs is a Beast! @@KentSterling your opinion it looks like D.A. Devonte Adams is on the move. Do you think he could help or hurt the colts? His contract has to be restructured after this year. Nobody paying him 35m for 2 years at age 33 and 34. Do think he could help a young receiving core and also contribute? Or do you think he only cares about his stats and would be detrimental to the colts goals as a team what they want from position groups

Last year in Jax, Lawrence was 20-30 for 181 yards. That's pretty pedestrian. Problem was Minshew's three picks and a fumble.

@@KentSterling I believe that…..I felt AR was in great hands…….I just dont like Ballard. I do not think he is trying to win….(only to save his job.)…..I am plenty patient. I loved the AR pick…..I will never sit there and say Minshew or Flacco should evert START over him….not at this point…….I will offer real tidbits about how or why either of those two may be better currently at certain parts of the game….(and they should be)…….But I will never jump off the kids bandwagon….UNLESS…..he continues to play SOFT, and/or the colts shift gears (because of his injuries) and try to make him a player that he isnt and will never be………then I will be out on him……..I will support him, but will have ZERo belief that he will hit his ceiling……..(without his legs being an integral part of it)…..period…….those are teh facts of this case and they are undisputed….everyone keeps mentioning Allen……….he RUNS the BALL…..AND it makes his big arm and lack of accuracy still very dangerous and effective….they dont ask Allen. ​@RickJannings-e1j this 100%, Ballard needs to go. I'm not sure why the fan base is still behind him. How are we 100% in but we don't spend the money that's available? The Colts are an ok team, not good, not bad. AR has taken a step back this year because he is thinking about what to do, not to do, and that speeds the game up for him. I haven't been excited to watch him this year at all. AR last year was must watch TV. I'm all in the AR and he needs to start, no question.

@@KentSterling I told everyone the Jags will start out slow because of their tough schedule in the first half of the season. With Engram back Lawrence will score more points and pick apart our terrible defense. The Jags get their first win this week. Colts should have 3 losses, the refs threw that last game for Colts to win.

Richardson doesn't have to be great - just better than Lawrence, which he can be. The weather is an issue too. Rain likely.

@@KentSterling heCAN be better than Lawrence IF you INCLUDE his rushing ability……the THREAT that brings to a defense…….it makes EVERYTHING go in our offense…….AR is not a guy that can operate under center in a traditional offense, and be efficient enough to worry a defense….they will play zone and never let him get deep, much like they do with Mahomes….and FORCE him to be an accurate passer……(which Mahomes is)……..and they will take away the ground game and without a defender or two committed to AR pulling it and running it, it weakens us as an offense and strengthens the other teams numbers…..

@@KentSterling the PAST is the BIGGEST predictor of the future..it’s ALSO the BIGGEST metric used when calculating metrics, simulations, etc…..projections……etc….whydo you think so much emphasis is put on it that it doesnt matter…..(coach speak)……….it matters. A LOT……….home field advantages are always 3 points….ALWAYS……no matter what…a team can be 0-16. And they still get that 3 point bump to the total before figuring the line…..WHY? Because of the past……metrics……
