buckner plays it's a win, he doesn't it's a loss. If I were to have to put money on it, I say he doesn't play....the back is just too bad and I'm 100% confident that Steichen already knows and HAS known for a while. It's body language at his presser early this week. I get it, he has to play it off so that LeFleur doesn't get tipped off, but geez, you ain't fooling the fans.

Technically, the offense should help out the defense by staying on the frickin field, so the defense isn't getting exhausted. It also keeps the opposing offense off of the field LONGER, helping our offense by default.

It's also the defenses job to get off the field on 3rd and long. You can't blame the offense for scoring points fast.

They have Rodney Thomas who they could possibly switch back. They drafted Jaylin Carlisle, and Harrison as well as The back up safeties behind Cross and Blackmon. All are safety's who can be either converted back or to fill in. If Buck does not play which I don't he won't then you have Dyo, Reaquan, Abware, to fill the void. Behind Kwity you can put Latu or Land and maybe others if we did not have to make room for corner we would also have Leo. For the corners we have Jaylin Simpson, David Long jr. Womack, Kelvin Joseph and the other corners we have starting. That's depth just not the names some of you think are still relevant. We will be fine player wise it's all in how Gus puts them in position to win.. We Got this Go Colts!

Real talk..Strategically move Blackmon to FS moving fwd. Note: Blackmon got hurt last year tackling Bijan Robinson in ATL (I was at the game). He's simply not built to tackle 220 lb rbs consistently. To Zach's point, I'm cool with Ballard betting on young talent but he's gotta learn to hedge his bet with quality depth. We need to adopt Brad Holmes' (Lions GM) philosophy...if a player can help us, we don't look at the position and say nah we're good. We take em! Lord knows we need more NFL caliber talent in the back 7!

Isn’t it the other way around? AR and the offense needs to give the short-handed defense some help. By sustaining drives, moving the chains, chewing up clock, etc. You guys have it backwards.

I am so glad to hear you say that bit about the defense making garbage qbs look good! I have seen it many many times since 1990 but a whole lot in the past decade, our defense fills me with dread anytime they are on the field! I want to see some more aggression and nore violence.

Last week. 's run defense looked that way because we were playing c. J. Stroud Green Bay Packers do not have c j's crowd. They do not have rewide receivers. Like the Texans, this will not be the Texans game. This will be stopped to run. Who gives a f*** about the run stop? Who gives a f*** about the run stop CJ?

What is it with the fragile Colts players we seem to have. It’s an every year occurrence. I may be wrong, but I don’t see anyone else in the division having issues with injuries already.

In the league injury is every where.. look at the team we are about play… more injuries are coming.. I’d say 50%of the “Any Given Sunday “ phrase is because of injuries

Colts defense is a Gus Bradley problem simple as that. The talent isn’t great by any means but the play calling is beyond static. This defense gives up an automatic 8-12 play drives every possession it’s so sad. The colts will not be serious contenders as long as CB stays in his ways and Bradley is the DC.
