Indians React to Hilarious INDIAN Jokes from the BIG BANG THEORY 

My favorite Indian joke in the show was when they guys were trying to get a drone to work and had problems. One suggested that they call the Help Line. Then Leonard said "We'll probably just get some guy in Mumbai". But they called the Help Line anyway and when they did Raj's phone started to ring.

They hired a Bollywood choreographer for the dance scene. The producers wanted it to be as authentic as possible and judging by your reactions, they nailed it.

When everyone from different cultures can talk and laugh with each other and not take things so seriously, that’s the world I like to live in.

My favourite: "You assume my relatives are lawyers just because I'm Jewish? How would you feel if I just assumed that because you're Indian, your cousin worked at a call centre?" "...My cousin does work at a call centre!"

I thought the #1 joke was going to be: Leonard (looking at the stars while stoned): The stars are pretty. Raj starts laughing uncontrollably. Howard: What are you laughing at? Raj: With your American accent, everything you say sounds stupid. (In an American accent) The stars are pretty. 😂😂

It been my experience on a few occasions that people that are most offended are not actually that ethnicity. " Oh my! you must be horribly offended to be portrayed like that. I'm going on social media ( Facebook) right now to show my support for you." "Um I wasn't offended at all because it's funny and actually true." "Oh you poor soul, your so oppressed that you don't even know what you're saying. " Wait! What? ( Pretty close to an actual conversation I had.)

I like when his parents would video chat in, and discipline him and show their shame for his chooses. lol

I think some of the best Indian moments involved Raj's disapproving parents on the skype calls

Glad they put a Bollywood theme at number 1. Got introduced to that in Iraq. One shopkeeper always had it playing on TV, and I was like, not bad. Sure beats the music we play in most American (U.S.A.) stores. And getting to watch the dance made ya not care that you were waiting in line.

Fun fact: On the show Raj character can't talk to girls unless he drinks alcohol.

Indian accents are often mixed with unusual or very forma use of English words or inappropriate synonyms. The result is humor. For example, one of my favorite jokes was in the movie Short Circuit 2, when the protagonist, an Indian scientist, said "I am next to myself with excitement!"

My favorite Raj joke is " not only are there starving children in India,there's an Indian starving right here

Other great Raj lines, " oh sure, send in the Indian! There's a billion more where he came from!"

Watched every episode and just letting you both know your reactions are great. I am from the US

The country has gotten so super sensitive. We used to be able to laugh at ourselves and others without someone crying about it

Honorable Mentions include when Leonard accidentally called Raj to demonstrate his new phone or when Raj's father called while Howard was on hold for the tech support line.

Please do lot's of the big bang theory video's especially since neither of you have seen most of it. This show greatly changed American culture. It got many more people interested in studying for different scientific college degrees and many more woman became accepted to be able to work in the math, sciences and things like engineering for both school and jobs. You should react to one of their comic-con panel Q & A videos and with the fans question you learn just how much this show helped people and brought families together.

Hahaha, the cricket thing is real. I live in England and any time in my life I have had colleagues and friends from India, Pakistan, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, we always have jokes and conversations, especially if there's a test match happening between our countries. And anyone from a different country looks at us like we're crazy. It's like we are in a special secret club. 😂

Thank you guys for showing this show as a reaction to the Indian humour in this series. Big Bang Theory is a very clever written sitcom and makes people aware of minority groups, such as science nurds, Indian people, and culture and does this in a very respectful way with great humour. The storyline is excellent and very well written. Thank you for promoting this program.

Fun fact: The Big Bang Theory producers hired a real Bollywood choreographer to help Kunal and Melissa dance as authentically as possibly within their capabilities. I still stream this show every year because everyone has faults and eccentricities and they all make fun of each other and it’s okay because it’s what makes them themselves. Everyone accepts everyone on this show. My former boss was Punjabi and I used to do his accent and it would make him laugh and he use to call me “pure breed white guy” and we’d both laugh. It’s okay. We didn’t part ways on good terms but he’s such an honorable guy and his father too that if their kids/grandkids “ever needed an organ donor I’d be first in line to see if I’m a match. I’m American and he and his family are Indian, and it’s okay, we accept these things because we understand we didn’t choose where we came from, but we can choose where we go as a people together.

Raj also imitates an American voice. It's freakin hilarious!

The actor who plays Raj was born in India, he moved to the US to study business, before landing the role of Raj. His accent is real.

It's crazy how so many white people criticized TBBT for its 'offensive' jokes. I'm a Southeast Asian and enjoyed almost all of those jokes. I think sometimes people just need to chill a bit and let us laugh for a while. There were also mentions of 'misogynistic elements', which isn't too wrong but looking at the bigger picture, this show had strong and smart female characters written all over it.

If an ethnicity or culture is offended by a movie or film, tv series whatever, and their usually not because they can laugh at themselves, but if they are then you fecked up. But if not which is usually the case, then no one has the right to be offended on that races behalf, which happens way too often.

Around 11:15. The Bollywood dream is fantastic. They really worked hard. Yes, it is making fun, but, the dancing and singing is great. So, just in that way, they showed respect to Indians. I think. I don't know because I am white and have never been to India. I've always wanted to go. I have a few friends there, so, they can guide me around. I'd love to explore this beautiful culture and society.

It was nearing the end and I remembered the dance scene with Bernadette and thought you were going to miss it, but no, you featured it. Nice dancing.

I usually got very sick of Sheldon for being (in a way,) waaay too intelligent. I like intelligent people quite a lot, but, fuck sakes! lol! I had much less of a problem with Raj being incredibly shy around women and had to drink a beer in order to speak to women. In a weird way, AMY is my top favorite. Sheldon exclaims something about how he messed everything up, and Raj repeats it, again trying his American accent. Howard tells Raj that’s still terrible. Raj says let’s hear Howard’s Indian accent, then. Howard says, in an Indian accent, “I can’t sit on that elephant, my ass is on fire from all the curry I ate!” (He did this twice, and the second time seemed a little more exaggerated than the first.) Raj concedes that that’s actually pretty good.

Go Sheldon! LOL Leave it to him to know about rules and laws. As far as accents are concerned; the more accustomed you become, the less problem understanding. I rarely fail to understand english spoken even in very heavy accents. However, it helps an english speaker if they have SOME knowledge of latin. It makes a handful of others easier to learn.

I loved watching the BBT faithfully. However, I was constantly bothered that the American men, no matter how unattractive, found their true loves in marriage. The only guy who couldn't find love was Raj. Do you think it was a coincidence that the brown man with a foreign accent is the only man who couldn't find true love? Or am I just paranoid?

I really like Bollywood films, but I prefer the films of Tollywood. "RRR" is an amazing film.
