"Wow, this channel is a soul-soothing treasure! Thanks for curating the perfect indie/folk journey for our summer. Your music picks are pure magic. Sending love from Spain"
I use this to play in my classroom of special needs students. It is calm and soothing and makes for great classroom management! My students remain calm throughout the day! LOVE it!😍
To the person reading this, Good Luck! Don't stress, everything will be fine. No matter what difficulty you are facing right now, you can overcome it! You are strong and brave.
This compilation is a fantastic musical journey through the latest in indie, rock, and alternative sounds. The fact that it's a 2½-hour playlist is a real treat, allowing for hours of immersive listening. Thanks for putting this together and keeping us updated with the best tracks of August 2023! 🎸🎤🎵🔥
From a standpoint of constructive criticism, I've noticed over the last few months in particular that the Indie Rock/Alternative playlists have metamorphosized into a continuation of the Indie Pop/Folk playlists. Personally, a more upbeat selection with more electric guitars & percussion would be a big improvement for enthusiasts of Rock & Alt Rock. Thanks much!
Really appreciate the feedback! We're taking this on board 🙂 In general, the summer playlists can sometimes tread into more pop/rock territory compared to the moodier playlists at other times of the year, which may be the reason for this. Were there any songs here particularly that stood out as not quite fitting the genre? 😊
@@alexrainbirdMusic Thanks for the response! I've been an avid listener for about 2 years now & the Night Drive Indie Alt Volume 1 playlist got me hooked. Since then, I've listened to every playlist on your channel, but I tend to enjoy the Alt/Rock playlists more than the others. In particular it's somewhat hard to explain until you happen to listen to both playlists back-to-back as I usually do. I drive for a living & spend quite a bit of time listening to your channel, so I noticed that in the last 6 months or so there's been more of a soft rock & pop carryover to the Alt/Rock & it's almost been difficult to distinguish between the two. Obviously, some songs are exceptions to the case, but the difference is markedly noticeable compared to 2 years ago. This month was the first time that I enjoyed more from the Pop/Folk than the Alt/Rock.
Finally got a chance to listen to this playlist today even though it has been out since July 31st. Great music from some great artists here. I see some familiar names but alot of new ones as well. I can't wait for the September playlists but of course the singles featured this month as well. Keep up the good work Alex and Beth and happy August yall.
