Love how the entire chat didn’t even know what the word Indie meant. Its like people see the word Nintendo on an upload and immediately start demanding the game they want without even thinking
Literally the only part of this dual showcase I needed. I only own Nintendo consoles, so I've been an outsider looking in with all the memes and gameplay.
I feel like the complaints were justified. There wasn’t anything that substantial, but that’s my opinion hey. It was a filler direct with nothing exciting imo. 🤷🏾♂️
@@firebird64dd22 True, but I was a little disappointed though. I feel like we need a new Nintendo switch, because we’re 7 years in close to 8 with the current Nintendo Switch and the console is definitely showing its age, but yeah good for the people who enjoyed this.
Morsels! amazing! amazing! incredible and greatest art and music! our brains are just…..what is it here! an innovation in game ! Art in game ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ bravos ! best imagination and best music to pouring in! Surprisingly!
The JRPG announcements in this direct were insane. An official Trails in the Sky remake announcement!? New Atelier that looks fantastic!? This was a great direct
24:29 Trails in The Sky The First Remake 27:51 Capcom Fighting Collection 2(Capcom VS SNK and Power Stone) 29:32 Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories and the Envisioned Land(New Atelier Game) 30:57 Suikoden I&II HD Remaster Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars 32:10 Castlevania Dominus Collection 33:52 Tales of Grace f Remastered 38:30 Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma 40:44 Yakuza Kiwami The Direct was peak reveal and we're eating for best Hyped Direct Month.
I never open livestream comments when it comes to gaming events and announcements, it's not even worth it honestly. The sheer amount of toxicity is just...depressing
I am a dating game person and honestly Date Everything is one of those games that I would show off to my non-dating sim playing friends because it just looks like it's gonna be a blast to play
@@Ksescel I'm just saying because it's true..honestly it is.Humans love sexaulizing everything and anything. It's kinda sad and gross. It's just my opinion.
The Wii era being "retro" makes me feel old. I remember when the Wii first came out. Super excited that MySims is coming to Switch, though. _Kingdom_ is my comfort game and it'd be amazing to play it on the go.
It's sad but it means we'll get remakes (hopefully playable ones without the crazy original load times). Also, Nintendo tends to release remakes from 1-2 console gens on many of their consoles, starting with Zelda remakes on gamecube.
For the entire Atelier Yumia segment, I kept going "Is this an Atelier game? It feels like an Atelier game. Nah, this feels surprisingly dark for an Atelier game. OMG ITS AN ATELIER GAME" (atelier is one of my favorite video game series)
Aww, my gosh XD That's awesome! I've never played one, I KNOW them, though, but there were so many cool and unique spins of things in that trailer, maybe I'll play this one sometime! ^^ I'M SO HAPPY CASTLEVANIA DAWN OF SORROW AND PORTRAIT OF RUIN ARE ON SWITCH AHHH I'VE BEEN WANTING TO PLAY THESE AGAIN FOR LIKE 10 YEARS AND WASN'T SURE IF THEY WOULD GET A COLLECTION BUT THEY DIIID So I'm sooo hecking happy too, ahhh XD
excuse me can you please refrain from using O wORD TO G word because to me God s name means alot he s our father in heaven who watch over us and he loves you that s why i ask you to refrain from using it may Lord bless you Amen

@@regrebsnre the plot is too complicated to explain, you really have to play it. It’s about Yakuza fighting for territory and money and stuff, and it’s a beat ‘em up if you like that
Yeah I was like wth?? Go back go back!! I almost missed it when I was drinking and looking away for the first few seconds and just saw Estelle and was like WHAT?! FOR REAL?!
Only thing good in this announcement. TOGf was a sub par game The atlier games lost their soul ages ago, Runefactory without RUnes, like COMEON, More bad "HD" classic RPGs. THe Indie Showcase showing utter trash and Flybying the only good few.. Seriesly whoever made this direct should get the ax.
Trails in the Sky deserved a better announcement than that. Tales of Graces F was my first Tales game so I'm happy to see it get some love here. I'm pretty excited for the new Rune Factory game, Tides was a surprisingly enjoyable game.
Thank you! That's how it's done. People come in here expecting the world... Come in with no expectations given how it's just Indie and Partner Showcases, and maybe you find about 2 or 3 games that interest you. I only found 2 in here I care for and I'm happy with that outcome
Love seeing fellow Bug Fables fans in the wild. And yes I agree Moth Kubit is definitely Bug Fables coded in terms Of character design. If i had a nickel for every time a game featured a fully functioning bug civilization and was good I'd have 2 nickels, which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice...
I wasn't expecting ANYTHING from the direct, yet I got EVERYTHING. I haven't played Graces f yet it's been on my backlog because it doesn't run well on my current PC but now I can play it, I thought Sui1+2 remasters were long dead BUT THEY ARENT, AND SKY FC REMAKE CAME OUT OF NOWHERE?! aaaaaah I can't wait to see the play in Jenis Academy!
Edit: Thanks to everyone who told me about the Advance collection. I've tried to post another comment multiple times, but RU-vid either deleted them or hid them. I was excited until I realized that Aria of Sorrow, the only handheld Castlevania game I haven't played, wasn't included. I would have purchased this bundle for that game alone (and possibly played the others when I finished), but without Aria, I'll probably pass.
I think this was a good direct showcase. Some good indie games. What got my attention was Rune Factory Guardians of Azuma, MySims Comfy Collection, Tales of Graces f, Atelier Yumina, and Legend of Heroes Trails of the Sky the 1st. So much to look forward to on the Switch.
Not really looking forward to the new RF. RF5 was a travesty, so I'm reluctant to every buy anything else they put out after how terrible it was. That's not to say I don't hope the new RF will be good, I love RF and of course hope that it turns out to be the pinnacle of the RF series, as I would want any new RF game to be, but I'll be sitting and waiting to see whether or not it's terrible before purchasing.
@@Sin_AlderRF5 is actually pretty fun once you get used to the poor graphics. The graphics in the new game look much better, and it’s definitely the most exciting thing in this direct for me.
Who'da thunk it, no first-party games or Switch 2 announcements during the Indie World + Partner Showcases. What a shocker. No Mario Odyssey 2, no Switch 2 shadow drop, no Tomodachi Life, unbelievable. Can't believe the Nintendo developed and Nintendo published game that Nintendo has 100% control over, Silksong, was not in this direct. It's not like it's made by someone else or anything.
The reason they’re not going to do the September Nintendo Direct is because they will basically re-announce the same first-party games from the June 2024 Nintendo Direct with more details, so it will be pointless, just like the September 2021 and September 2022 Nintendo Directs
Can we take a minute to recognize the amount of communication regarding The Switch's successor Nintendo has given us? I know its only been "we will not be talking about it" for both Directs but thats A LOT more than you usually get out of anyone. And it also implies that they will tell us what direct WILL have that information. This need to be more common. Thank you Nintendo for keeping us updated
Looks like they handled the transition from DS to single screen well. It’s been a while since I played any of those. Portrait of Ruin was my favorite of the handheld Castlevanias.
I seem to be missing something because I tried to get into Rune Factory 4 or 5 🤔 can't remember which but I couldn't get into it...I'm thinking of giving it another chance because I'm usually a big fan of simulation games like that
@hmmmp The FGC? CAPCOM vs. SNK 2 is in the collection, and that's one of the greatest fighting games CAPCOM has ever made, and now it's getting an official re-release for the first time since the GameCube era.
As someone who has half of those games on my shelf, I'm ecstatic whenever these collections are announced. Online play is great, but this will also hopefully cut down on the dramatic price creep for the original versions.
Hey dude, Hollow Knight fan here. Just letting you know I have lost all hope for Silksong. If tomorrow they announced that they cancelled it, I would feel nothing
“Viewers in the chat are reacting negatively to the Nintendo Direct, calling it a waste, bad, and one of the worst in recent memory. Some specific criticisms include the lack of substantial announcements and the inclusion of ports of older games.” LMAOOOO
Why are people still caring about youtube live chats for Nintendo announcements? Didn't you all people got the info of never looking the toxic live chat back in 2021?
Yeah, I'm definitely getting the collection, too, because I really want to play the DC castlevania games, and here's hoping for a 3D castlevania collection.
@@ZamWeazle i got LoS2 about 2 years ago when it was free with gold and it wasnt as bad as people made it out to be. its more like the classic GoW with a bit of metroidvania, if you got a xbox it frequently goes on sale so defintly pick it up, there are also some metal gear solid refrences in there if you are intrested in that (il never get the chance to bring that up again)
Wish they would have put in Bloodlines instead of Haunted Castle for the full Morris experience but w/e. And now that a wider audience can play Order of Ecclesia maybe people will stop calling it good just because it has le female protagonist and acknowledge that its the worst of the 3 DS games.
I want silksong as much as the next guy, but... You know, I've never understood why people always expect it would be revealed during a nintendo direct in particular? It's not like it is an exclusive. In any sense of the word.
It was announced as a console exclusive for the Switch. That being said. With how long it's taking. I don't know if the console exclusive deal is still in place. Also chat on a direct always sucks. Even the chat on the last direct was gutter trash
I remember when the very first Nintendo direct had a Shrek thriller video showcase, and now we have a Shrek power wash simulator showcase. We are now going full circle with Shrek. It feels very poetic.
18:00 LETS F*CKING GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. I HAVE ALWAYS WANTED TO PLAY THIS GAME WHEN I FIRST SAW IT. I’M CRYING RIGHT NOW! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS!!!!!!
@LemonTerps xbox still hasn't replaced the like decade old Xbox 1 yet and Playstation had not done a good job at bringing new people over for multiple years so ehh
I swear the reading comprehension devil is real lol. And I mean you can't complain considering this had a little bit of something for everyone. That and we literally just had a stacked direct maybe two months ago haha
@giovannigiordano366 I'm sure he was implying that we're not getting Mario, Zelda, Metroid, DK etc titles. There are definitely still good games made by partners of Nintendo though
