Director Sophie Barthes and actors Emilia Clarke and Rosalie Craig discuss their new film, The Pod Generation, at Sundance Film Festival. Barthes, Clarke, and Craig discuss technology, the pros and cons of its advancement, and how their satirical, dystopian film works to start the conversation around the intersections of humanity, our happiness, and technological innovation. The Pod Generation comes to cinemas later this year (summer?).
Emilia Clarke also discusses working with Marvel, Solo: A Star Wars Story and the potential for a Qi'ra Disney+ mini series in her future (it's unlikely folks), and her priorities for her career after playing Daenerys Targaryen (1st of Her Name, Rightful Queen of the Seven Kingdoms, Mother of Dragons, Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea, Breaker of Chains, Unburnt, etc.) in HBO's hit series, Game of Thrones.
